The queue for PC NA Gray Host is broken

Whatever you guys did in the last patch has completely broken the queue for PC/NA Gray Host campaign in Cyrodiil. Every night from about 8:30 to 11:30 EST one or more of our guild has the same problem: you get into queue, wait it out from some number in the 50's or higher, but then the number get stuck and stops going down. The queue doesn't move past that number for you even though others queued for the same campaign (some who started with higher numbers than yours) are riding out the queue and getting in just fine. When you try to leave the queue you get a message saying "you are not queued for that campaign". In order to re-queue you have to completely quit the game and usually when you get back in it's at a higher number than the first time. Some nights this happens consecutive times.

I know prime time is busy, but those are the hours we can play on weeknights. I'm prepared to wait out long queues - but this is unacceptable. Some nights I can't get in at all, and it's not just me. This happens to me or some random other member of my group every night since the last patch (v7.1.6) and it never happened before. My group has members from across the country and some from overseas and the problem doesn't seem to be localized to any particular area. I'm in CA, but it has happened to others from MO and even to a member from Sweden, so it has to be from your end. Please look into this. Thank you.

This is the text posted Flangdoodle in this post. For absolutely no practical reason, that thread was closed when me and another user responded that exactly the same issue impacted us multiple times recently. I hope ZOS looks into this as well as the issue I am writing about because it is as frustrating as the bug.

This has happened to me twice this week while queuing for Gray Host. Each time it meant not playing that night because I didn't have time to wait in queue again.

It was identical to what is described in the quoted text. I noticed my position in the queue wasn't progressing, so I left the queue and received the "you are not queued for that campaign" message and I needed to log out in order to attempt to enter the campaign again.

Been happening on PCEU, I believe it may be due to changing zones/instances a lot while I'm queue.

If I just AFK I have no problems but if I collect skyshards or lorebooks from different zones, that's when I have had it bug out.

I'm on PC/NA and the only time I have zoned while waiting in queue is to and from player housing.
