It's because whomever coded these forums was a moron on the web development side of things.
They put every language that the company is supporting on the same page creating a complete trainwreck of a forum.

I don't know why people have trouble finding the English forums. The French/German options don't even display for me anymore, and if you can't read a link, don't click on it.

Where I live, a lot of people speak English and Spanish interchangeably. It sounds terrible -- using one language at a time is the key.

If they choose German or French for the forum I'll learn one of those. C'est la vie.

I think it's stupid as well... why not just make forums.elderscrollsonline.com, forums.elderscrollsonline.(the german or french version of com). There should be different forums

Especially the dev tracker. Rows of posts in 3 different languages, no idea what order they're in if any. You already made us select a language, do some filtering with it!

Yes, for the love of everything, simplify the format of these forums. Navigating them is more difficult than anything in the game itself.

This is the most ridiculous forum layout I have ever encountered. They seriously need to redesign it; it makes absolutely no sense.

They could simply put the language option as a first category then you get to see the subcategories for that language. That would still keep everything in the same place and easily available for everyone without making it cluttered like it is now.

Example:
English
- Patch notes
- Support... etc etc
French
- Patch notes
- Support...

Couple of things not mentioned this time round so far -

Bad - who thought the newspaper version of dev tracker was a good idea. Can't even tell when the messages were written.

And actually one good thing your able to save multiple drafts.

There is already a function to select language in the top right corner but doesn't seem to function...
