Practiced Incantation cc immunity failing

From the tooltip "while channeling this ability, you gain immunity to all disabling effects."

The cc immunity is not always applying, particularly with the Volendrung pull ability (see linked video) and also with dark convergence. Please can you investigate/fix.

Essentially this skill does not grant immunity to many disabling effects at all.

Why not?
