Trophies Crypt Jar, Buzzing Spine and Stony Heart bugged?

I have been playing ESO since Beta in 2014 on EU Server.
After 10 years of regular playing & farming, I am still missing the very same three trophies - Crypt Jar, Buzzing Spine and Stony Heart. Those simply do not drop.
All the other trophies which I already have, drop frequently for me.

Either I have the worst luck (10 years!!!!!) or the drops of those are broken/bugged.
I have been trying all the hints like minding the loot table at login, trying my more loot-lucky Characters, farming the living hell out of the particular mobs pointed out at Alcast and other Werbsites.

Has anyone on the EU Server had any luck on these trophies this or last year (2023/2024)? Crypt Jar, Buzzing Spine and Stony Heart?
I am farming for the stony heart and crypt jat at the Public Dungeon in Alikr Desert. No luck at all.

I really wish ZoS would balance those drops.

Awhile ago I did a farm to complete all these trophies that took me about 3-4 weeks. Crypt jar did feel really long for me and I've heard others say the same.

Every stony heart I've gotten (several) except for one has come from Hel Ra Citadel. I only got one from the Alikr public dungeon.

I got the crypt jar only once when I farmed it. I got it from Gandranen Ruins. I did try the Alikr dungeon as well but never got it from there after 5hr of farming.

I have no info on droprates but these might be a nice change at least. And I'm also on EU. PC

Thank you for the hint with the Gandranen Ruins. Will try to get the jar there.

As for Hel Ra & stony heart. Have been around in Hel Ra a lot on various characters over the years. I was sadly never lucky to get a heart of any of the gargoyles. Not even the ones at the end when you go for hard mode.
I tried Black Maw in Shadowfen, the outdoor Gargoyles in Craglorn and Bangkorai Qharroa Ruins over the last couple of years.

For the Wamasu buzzing spine I spend a lot of time in Shadowfen (Swamp) and Craglorn (Cave near Dragon Star Arena)

Kinda frustrating.

For buzzing spine, south coast of Grahtwood, south of the Grey Mire. Along the beach there're a group of 2 and a single wamasu and they respawn really quickly. Kill them all then back to the start and it'll already be back. There are a few alits there too if you need them.

Crypt jar took me ages to get on my main. I had it already on several others but Tuwhacca's throne in Alik'r was the place I eventually found it. Of course with AWA that doesn't matter now.

These are frustrating because the drop rate is miniscule.

One thing I've noticed (not tested, but it seems like it) is that the random seed is set on login or zoning. I've seen that if I'm able to get one to drop, there's actually a pretty good chance of another dropping as well. But if one doesn't drop, I'm not gonna get any.

I did stony heart and crypt jar both in the Lost City of the Na'Totambu because they've got mummies and gargoyles, and used that trick. Since one dropped, the other came by not too long after. But I was running with a few friends who got neither. The wamasu I got on the beach near The Grey Mire in Grahtwood since there are a handful of wamas there.

i farmed for the crypt jar and stony heart in the alikr public dungeon as it is both a good source of gargoyles and sand warriors

i farmed the buzzing spine in shadowfen in a location that had 2-3 wamasu close together (another option would be craglorn to the south of the town of dragonstar as theres an area there with like 4-5 wamasu)

the hardest drop for me to get was the one from the lions/sabre cats (cats claw), that took like 12 hours of farming to get 1 drop

Long time ago someone made a post about how to farm trophies, but it is lost now. Basically you get a set loot table each time you log on. So if you don't get a trophy after 5 respawns, log out and either wait 3 minutes for your character to fully exit the system, or log onto an alt and resume. I have had lots of success doing this with trophies and leads. Good hunting

Still cannot find Crypt Jar. Have looked all over, grinded undead ruins and still cannot obtain after over 10 yrs with the game.

I actually decided to try that theory today after a wisp that I killed because it was in the way dropped a Glowing remnant (already had that one).
Went for Wolf's tooth necklace that has been evading me for 4 years. Got it in less than 10 wolf kills.
Then I went for Spriggans. In less than an hour got a trophy from them (+ one from an imp that I did not need).
Then I went for Harpies. It was a slog and I was ready to give up after 1.5 - 2 hours but then it dropped.
After that I went for Mammoths and got their trophy is less than 10 kills.

So, I'm done with the trophies.

Yesterday, I managed to get the buzzing spine in Grey Mire (thanks to tip from @Ishtarknows) bile gilt and knotted heart on the same character. Today I got the crypt jar (first mob just before the group boss in Alik’r PD) and the troll skull. I now only have the inert egg, stony heart and burning daedroth eye to go.

A further two days of searching and I now only have the inert egg to go.

Yesterday I got buzzing spine. Today, within an hour, I picked up troll skull, cruel collar and stony heart. I need only prized barb now. Keep grinding, they will drop. Cheers.

Just got the prized barb in craglorn. I'm finally done. Started playing in 2016 on ps na. The last few days was my first time actually looking for the trophies. Rng blessed me I guess. Good luck.

I got today (after 10 years) the stony heart - did not take even one hour after loggin in. So I must have been on the right loot table.

It dropped in the Lost City of Na-Totambu (Public Dungeon) from the named gargoyle (Patriarch). Not sure if it matters and if named monsters are more prone to drop trophies.

Maybe it helps others:
1) I made certain that my character I am farming with, is always already inside the dungeon when I login, so I do not mess up the loot table for the dungeon. I do not know if the loot table is rolled every time I enter/leave a dungeon or only once per day. So I took no chances.

2) I usually try for two hours and if the trophy does not drop within that time frame, I stop farming and do my other eso stuff.
Since I have still some companions to level, it was not entirely wasted time for me if the trophie did not drop.

Btw. it is not a given that if one rare trophy drops, that soon after the other will drop as well.
After the heart dropped, I kep farming for the crypt jar and it did not drop within the next three hours.

Any advice on the jackal one? Been playing for 9 years, have taken many characters through Alik’r & killed many jackals but nothing.

(But then my rng is bizarre. Have slaughtered many many griffin to get the feather lead but again, after YEARS - nothing. Nada. Zip.

So many baby griffons orphaned. And for what. 🥺)

For Jackals I was actually lucky in Craglorn. These are also everywhere there.

For Gryphons I slaughtered Griffs in Summerset. But also took me two days for the lead. The worst for me was the vampire one (the thing that looks like a chapel).

Rule by thumb what I figured is. If a trophy or lead does not drop within one hour of slaughtering mobs,then I am not on the right loot table. So I switch through some of my characters and try to see if I get the drop.

Doing the same btw also with Nirncrux.

I decided to complete all these a little while before AWA, I've always wondered how much closer I would've been over the whole account.

At the time I did it I had a lot of gaps even though I'd played mostly that one character since console release. Most of the missing items took a couple of hours to drop but the Crypt Jar took weeks! I tried the lost city public dingean but it was a long time to just spend in one location so I mixed it up a bit. In the end I was running laps around Tu’whacca’s Throne when it finally dropped.

Second place was the one from Ogrim's, that took 2 or 3 days.

The one I dreaded was the the Ice Wraith one, just because there isn't really a nice easy loop for them, but that one was actually super quick, think I only needed about a dozen kills for it to drop.

Crypt Jar was definitely the worst. Was the first one I went farming for, was the very last one to actually drop for me. I definitely feel that this one drop is bugged.

Last year, I spent countless hours over 3 weeks farming various spots with mobs that it could drop from. Tried that delve in Shadowfen a whole lot, but the route I found best was actually Seeker's Archive in Craglorn. There's also several packs of Jackals nearby if you still need that drop too.

As for Stony Heart, I have seen several friends get it from Hel Ra, but I farmed it out in Bangkorai without issue.
