What's the best ranged bomber set up?

Looking to help bust some zergs, wondering what the best set-up/class is

Was thinking NB with Plaguebreak and Dark Convergence using destro ult

Never done it, but the most effective is probably what you're on to.

Back bar DC, front bar PB DW with Nirn/Sharpened Maces. This leaves room for an aoe burst monster set, mythic and 1pc trainee.

Could also try back bar DC, body PB, front bar ability altering weapon. This would mean you need to pick between a mythic or a monster set since there is only 2 spaces left.

Ability altering weapons you could try are Wild Impulse + Shock Pulsar or Titanic Cleave + Brawler/Carve.

Lightning staff increases direct damage by a substantial amount and Shock Pulsar scales based on enemies hit.

Titanic Cleave and Brawler would scale with the amount of enemies hit, making you hit really hard, but also give you a chance to survive the bomb.

Buff up, Proxi Det, Stampede in using an infused 2H with weapon/spell damage enchant, weapon swap, Soul Tether, Whirling Blades/Carve/Brawler/Pulsar spam. If you went with the Monster set + Mythic combo, proc whatever it is after you weapon swap.

If you can manage someone else to use DC for you, try combining PB with Vicious Death instead.

Most effortless ranged:
Vicious death + Plaguebreak, bloodthirsty jewelry and just spam Mage's Wrath into crowd, let someone else do the work and bring them low, you just apply as much as you can.

From what I’ve seen, probably a Sorc with Negate + Dark Convergence (I think negate also prevents proc sets from triggering, so prevents heals inside and proc heals) into Masters Cleave spam.

Of course against the 40k average hp organized blobs you’re still going to need multiple people.

another successful tactic against large groups is single target chains or pulls, pull 1 out and kill them while they are separate from their group and buffs
