Do you have an Ebony Warrior character?

My necro has finished all side quests and main quests. Every dungeon quest. Collected every skyshard. Has all mages guild books. Maxed every skill line. Researched every trait. maxed out her mount. Has 70% of motif pages, the ones I don't have, I don't care about. She's about rank 30 in Cyro, I only play Friday nights in Cyro and go all out during Mayhem. Not sure she'll ever hit 50, but that's fine. Housing doesn't interest me.

I feel like I've done everything I want to do in the game, on the one character. Not interested in changing her class, as new Blastbones aside, I've always enjoyed ESOs necro. I sometimes think of starting another character, but good gravy I just couldn't do it all again. So there she remains, my main and only character.

The good side of this is between content gaps I can log in less, and when new content comes out, she gets every call back and extra reference dialogue in each expansions quests. I also thankfully never have FOMO, and I'm rarely interested in the stuff you get for event tickets (mini molag, the tattoos, and next personality do nothing for me).

It's both liberating and a little sad?

Do you have an Ebony Warrior character? Do you have alts alongside them, or do you just main your main for main'ing the main stuff?

My main (the first toon I ever created) does all the quests and all new content that I'm interested in. But I have a lot of alts: different races/classes/werewolf/vamp. Some of them suck DPS wise (I mean even more than my main), but that is not the goal. On them I only do quests that I like and would like to repeat or those that I need for advancement of the character or for extra dailies. I know I would get bored with just having one toon.

I have lots of alts. Each of them does whatever quests are appropriate for her backstory. They all craft some; they all enjoy antiquities.

I'd be desperately bored with just one girl.

I have a main that does all quests, crafting, etc.

I also have one of each class whose only job is to be that class for meta chasing purposes. These characters are my class change token in a sense.

I have a werewolf themed character and a vampire themed character.

    A thief.

    Several inventory mules.

A couple extra characters I still need to level.

I have a DK, necro, arcanist and two templar mules. The DK is the first toon I created and I pretty much do everything with him. For a short while I did play more often with the necro, but I hate repeating most quests and couldn't stand a main that's not a 9-trait crafter capable of building hundreds of furnishings... so I went back to the DK. I even dislike switching toons. As for the arcanist, one of these years I'll probably level him to 50.

So, yeah, my DK fits the OP's description. Besides, dragons are cool, right?

Guess so, fits the description quite well. But as I've quit achievement hunting in common sense (100% the game no matter you're interested in activities or not) I'm bit more liberated of the "empty" feeling as have some stuff to do technically even if not planning to, like tot.

It would probably help to start the topic by explaining "Ebony warrior" is your personal name for having a single character and no alts. Or change the topic title to something clearer and put your nickname for it in the post somewhere. Right now I suspect this thread isn't getting a lot of attention because it's not clear what it's about, so it's just those of us bored enough to read a thread which appears to immediately go off on a random tanget who are replying.

I think quite a few people stick to a single character, but I'm not one of them. I can't remember the last time I had just 1 character in any game with a choice of classes, skills etc. because I always want to try different options, different paths through the game and if there's a character creator inventing different personalities and backstories to drive them.

I have 3 who I intend to eventually do everything (although only 1 has made significant progress), and several others for specific purposes. One is a dedicated crafter, one has fallen into pretty much only doing events and endeavours (her backstory is she's a very impulsive mercenary) one is an 'evil' character to try things my others would never do, and so on. I don't play them all equally but that's fine with me. Having multiple characters to choose from means I can play whoever I feel like today.

My main is my tank (healer in PvP) who has every motif in the game, almost every style page (still working on the style pages from the card game as I refuse to buy them along with a belt from battlegrounds), full questing completed in the game up to this point including all dailies in cyro completed at least once while also hunting down the breadcrumbs, all dungeon quests / trial quests, was emp for a few days, all skill lines maxed with all skills maxed along with all morphs maxed (that was tedious), rank 50 in cyro, all traits, and almost full stickerbook at this point.

I adore the character, and it is kinda nice to be able to "take a breath" and just goof around with alts to do whatever with and not have my brain poke at me over unfinished stuff. With that one character doing all the major stuff, opened up the other 19 slots to goof with and make the stupidest builds. Like the NB power bash set up I've been goofing with the past couple weeks during my downtime.

I have 2 characters for every class and wouldn't consider any of them a "main", I just play whatever I feel like that night.

That’s an impressive list my friend. My only question is, how haven’t you hit 50 yet doing all of that content?

i do most of the game with my main character.
Though i also do dungeons, daily quests, and the Archive with my other characters.

with my main character i got:

    - all crafting skill lines to 50
    - all crafting traits researched
    - all zone stories completed
    - all skyshards
    - all delves, world bosses, public dungeons, group dungeons, and trials done
    - most maps fully complete with the exception of a few side quests like Elinhir
    - got to rank 21 in alliance war
    - 10 outfits
    - 10 armory builds
including: tank, healer, vampire, frost warden, speed, stamina warden, and solo builds.

And i try to learn all new motifs, furnishing plans, and food recipes with my main bosmer warden.
    Though i have sometimes learnt new things on another character by accident like the Dwemer Boiler diagram ;_;

i believe they were referring to rank 50 of the alliance war as rank 30 was mentioned right before it

I had only one character for a long time, I was just questing overland getting Cadwell’s Silver and Gold, zone completions, and skyshards. She’s my 9-trait crafter but all others are crafters too.. She's also still my achievement character for the most part.

I have several other toons now, one of each class at least, some PvE and some PvP. Some are trials toons. I enjoy having ones that are specialized for certain tasks and perform better than my main toon, but I still like just hunting Eidetic books, farming mats, digging up leads, or decorating houses on my main.

What is an "Ebony Warrior?" This is not a term with which I am familiar.
Is this a label from another game that you are applying to your ESO character?

Edit: Ah, I see. NPC from Skyrim (who I never encountered). Nevermind.
