Far too much mail in inbox!

I have close to 500 mails in less than a month.... and it is UNFUN.

I understand ESO+ is an incentive to bring money in, but even with ESO+ mail management to me is a nightmare. It is not fun, it is HEAVY time consuming, honestly FAR TOO MUCH time consuming. It kills the game to me.

What about replacing inbox like rewards of the worthy by another system that removes EVERYTHING (I mean ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING) about inbox management? You win I would pay for this.

One of my add-ons auto opens and retrieves the contents of the hireling mails. Perhaps a toggle to auto open and retrieve all mail contents would be possible.

Like any mailbox if you don't regularly empty it like daily it will become a full mess.
Just like my irl mailbox, just wish it was also full of gold.

So I started this thread two days ago.
With all my free time during these 48 hours, I could treat 100 mails in about 60 to 90 minutes.
400 mails to go.
400 !!!

Seems I need a minute, to see if item is worth selling, managing free space, selling junk, changing selling guilds accordingly, puting items of the same set in the same guild store and of course running from bank to sellers. Yep about a minute/mail on average.

Meaning those 500 mails in less than a month will amount 500 minutes not gaming in a game.
That is a little bit more than 8 hours, like a full working day, just for the mailbox.

Every month.

Please mates, check by yourself the time spent in this activity that is not fun at all and time consuming. To me it really hurts the game.

i dont think ive ever had more than 20 mails at one time unless i was in the process of switching a guild and all 30 of my guild store listings becoming delisted at the same time lol

By contributing the equivalent of approximately 1 working hour's worth of pay at roughly above minimum wage in the US per month you get the problem solved for you, and that is what they are counting on.

20 per day is 600/month roughly.
It's about the same estimate as mine.

I only play PVP, between rewards of the worthy and a mail for every Battleground I play it sums up fast.

i open mails as i get them, i never just get 20 mails and leave them sitting there lol

even rewards for the worthy, i will stop and open it (assume i am not stuck in combat of course) lol

the only time i ever have 20 mails is usually the first time i log in for the day which is 5 for hirelings + any sales emails that happened from the guilds im in over the past 18 hours i was not logged in

also there is a 100 mail limit.

Why? The mails have to be stored somewhere, so why a fake limit like 100? Whenever it hits the limit, mass deletion stops working and I have to re-login to delete any mail.

I get about 10-15 mails per day, sometimes more (mostly a combination of hireling mail and guild store sales, plus the PvP rewards when I'm playing PvP) and it only takes me a minute to deal with the mail itself - once I see it's all 'system mail' I just go through pushing E, X, E to claim the items/gold and delete the mail. I used to read the hireling mail but then sadly I got to the end of them so now it's always the same message every time.

Once I've claimed the items they're in with everything else in my inventory and get sorted along with all the rest so it doesn't take any extra time. Most my characters put everything they don't use in the bank when their inventory is getting full, then I withdraw it on my crafter who deconstructs any gear I don't have collected or which isn't worth selling at the same time I'm doing daily writs, then sells stuff to the NPC merchant by the crafting area in Alinor, then goes to the bank to sell stuff on the guild store and sort materials into his inventory and the bank (I usually don't have ESO+).

I couldn't tell you how much time it takes for items from mail vs items from elsewhere, but I can tell you it definitely doesn't take 1 minute per item.

This. Also, a way for GMs to mass send mails but also a toggle to turn off receiving those mails. I really do not care about trade guild auctions or events.
