never even made it to rubedite tier yet partially because i dont enjoy playing tribute against players, and partially cause of the point ranking system
i hate losing points, ever, i would rather you just get 0 points for a loss instead of negative points
to compare its like those games which give you an xp loss penalty on death, i could never get into those because thats too steep a penalty when it could take hours to grind up xp and then lose all of it on one accidental death

The ranks prior to Rubedite arn't so bad as you get a minimum of 100 points for a win so as long as you win more than you lose you'll progress though the ranks. What sucks is once you get to Rubedite occasionally winning nets you 0 points. I hadn't had a game with 0 points in so long I thought that ZOS had made some adjustments so that you always get at least 10 points (which is still meager compared to the 100 points you lose on a loss).
