Improving Gear needs checkbox for using banked items or not

I was making training gear for a low level player and was improving it to purple quality. As I was doing this I noticed a lot of pieces were showing in the window, more than I had in my pack. It was then that I realized I had improved some low level gear I had in my bank for the purpose of research.
There needs to be a checkbox to use items from bank or not on the improving tab like there is on the deconstruction tab. I wasted a lot of mats before I realized my mistake.
