I'm looking for a good one heavy set that contain armor, health but most importantly damage to attack back to the enemies especially on solo for pve as well?
DK one bar

I was thinking on which of one of these set would be the best for damage and defense for both mode but most of these sets I never try out.
resilient yokeda
Bahraha's Curse
Radiant Bastion
Silver Rose Vigil
Storm Knight's Plate
Thunderbug's Carapace
Turning Tide
Glacial Guardian
Hand of Mephala
Hrothgar's Chill
Armor of the Veiled Heritance
Crimson Twilight
Embershield
Curse of Doylemish
Leeching Plate
Explosive Rebuke

    sergeant's mail is awesome.

and you can also use crafted sets like Order's Wrath and simply craft them in heavy armor.

I forgot to say it for one bar and for dk as one sword and shield sorry, and I stop using sergeant for a while in general, to me is boring because I really don't enjoy using the main weapons as much than enjoy using the abilities more.

This is not really what you are looking for but I have my tank builds and a build for solo questing. My questing build does not do a lot of damage and I can still handle tanking with my back bar. If looking to be a very effective PvE tank there will not be much damage output which is why I use a questing build.

If the content one is tanking does not require a strong tank raid build then there is a lot that can be done and one can get very creative.

The only class that is able to do more damage as tank with sword and shield which I try before is arcanist because of the damage passive which I try before but dk have that block passive so it so hard to decided.

I've found these two sets very good at boosting tank damage:

Seventh Legion is an overland set in Bangkorai.
PA can be a little harder to farm since you need telvar but as long as you avoid the Ice Staff, it's not too expensive on guild traders.
Personally, I like to have a 2-bar build so I backbar PA and frontbar Titanic Cleave (from DSA) to make short work of the mobs.

I used to use Leaching/Azureblight but the nerf to the latter made it less viable for a tank build.

My questing build is DW on the front bar. S&B is only on the back bar.
