you can just use stuff like ele sus, or certain skills or procs that guarantee applying status effects
with 3 focus efforts stacks, just spamming ele sus is like 50-60k dps on a pure tank spec, can basically ignore the "chance to apply" increase as the effects are guaranteed
edit: to answer your question, im assuming multiplicative because at 5x stacks its like a 62% increased chance to apply status effects which if additive would make them trigger all the time from anything just about

ult cost reduction vision is low (caps at -15%) but it does stack with existing ult reduction/ult gen to be able to build a unkillable DK with perma magma shell
the other dmg increasing visions are just too low to even compete with the raw power of focused efforts, even with the status chance being multiplicative
so if your running archive you pretty much always take focused efforts even if your not running a mag build, or one that guarantees status effects
i actually have an experimental necromancer build that uses serpents disdain for +16 sec on status effects for the archive, 20 sec status effects with a few focused efforts you basically just have to spam ele sus on everything and then just turtle up while everything dots to death lol

its also extremely powerful with the resource restore enchantments, to help with sustain on later arcs
it sounds like your doing pretty good already, you could probably get further if you built a bit more survivability (such as if you were running a solo arena), or utilize a tank companion (they are almost immortal in there against 90% of the enemies)

and with a 5 stack attuned enchantments, the weakening enchant + major and minor cowardice does so much debuff on the enemies weapon/spell dmg that if it happens in early arcs it can reduce single enemies to 0 dmg, and make the npc enemy deal no dmg whatsoever
usually on a pure dps spec (though with a bit of healing and max hp of like 26k with food), i can usually make it almost to the end of arc 4 unless i get really unlucky with some bosses or trash fights, and marauders are pretty dicey, though if you have the tank companion they are much less of an issue
