alright though I'll do it per role

    damage dealer:
    - Order's Wrath
    - Viscious Serpent/Ophidian
    - False God's Devotion
    - Pillar of Nirn
    - Deadly Strike

    healer:
    - Spell Power Cure
    - Pillager's Profit
    - Winter's Respite
    - Roaring Opportunist
    - Jorvuld's Guidance

    tank:
    - Claw of Yolnahkriin
    - Pearlescent Ward
    - Void Bash
    - Powerful Assault, also useful for healing but pretty similar to Spell Power Cure
    - Willow's Path, nice crafted set for more recovery

    crafted sets:
    - Order's Wrath, extra crit damage and healing so i use it for my damage builds.
    - Heartland Conquerer, increases the effectiveness of your Weapon Traits by 100%.
    - Mechanical Aquity, extra crit chance.
    - Willow's Path, gives you a LOT of recovery.
    - Wretched Vitality, gives extra recovery to allies when applying buffs or debuffs.

    extras:
    - Oakensoul, all the buffs i need for dealing damage and surviving.
    - Ring of the Wild Hunt, extra speed.
    - Spaulder of Ruin, useful when tanking or healing.
    - Faun's Lark Cladding, funny to run through monsters.
    - Wrath of Elements, used this a lot before Oakensoul released as the skill needed costs nothing and it deals damage over time.
    miaow! i'm Luna ( she/her ).

Baron Thirsk 1 piece for sustain
    Coward's also for sustain

    Deadlands Demolisher for bash

    Oakensoul

Since I run one bar bash without potion, all other sets are irrelevant.

Just going with endgame/vet trials group as overland can be anything, group dungeons have a wider variety of tank and healer combinations, and arenas are specialized:

    DD
    Deadly Strike
    Pillar of Nirn
    Ansuuls Torment
    Relequen
    Whorl of the Depths

    Tank
    Turning Tide
    Powerful Assault
    Yolnakriin
    Pearlescence
    Saxheel

    Healer
    Spell Power Cure
    Jorvulds Guidance
    Roaring Opportunist
    Pillager's Profit
    Transformative Hope

Somewhere there has to be Z'ens Redress for trials.

    Extras
    Amulet for Arcanists
    Mora's Whispers or the Kilt
    Spaulder of Ruin
Oakensoul, even though the Oakensorc is not useful or welcome in some trials. Like Cloudrest, for example

For me, in Public Dungeons, the best is

5 Aetherial Ascension, heavy armor = helm, cuirass, gauntlets, greaves, sabatons
5 Macabre Vintage, weapons (2), necklace, ring, belt
1 undaunted heavy shoulder piece giving 129 weapon and spell damage
1 Ring of the Wild Hunt

One really nice thing about this set is that you can still keep playing in a Public Dungeon after all your armor is broken, due to the Aetherial Ascension armor buffs. Your physical and spell resistances stay at about 12000, which is enough to get by, if barely.

Another really nice thing is that the first enemy you kill out of a big group of enemies, he goes KER-POW and hits the other enemies for half their max health, which often means (since you've been spamming AOE attacks on them in between light attacks) that the whole rest of the group just suddenly falls over dead, and you're off to the next big fight.

Combined with the Champion Buff "Combat/Occult Overload," you can clear a room almost as fast as you can run through it.

Objectively, many o these sets are no longer BIS. To be fair, what is "BIS" largely depends on the fight you are in now, but if we assume just parse dummy fights, then IMO, these sets are going to be better:

    1. Relequens
    2. Whorl of Depths (depends on build/class)
    3. Ansul's Torment
    4. Seargant's Mail (for HA attack builds only)
    5. Deadly Strike (DOT builds only).

For healing, IMO these sets are tops regardless of Dungeon/Trial setups:

    1. SPC
    2. Powerful Assault
    3. Pillager's Profit
    4. Jorvold's Guidance
    5. Roaring Opportunist (Maybe share this slot with Saxhleel's Champion, depending on class)

    For tanking:

    1. Turning Tide
    2. Crimson Oath
    3. Pearlescent Ward
    4. Powerful Assault (depends on group/comp)
    5. Leeching Plate/Crimson Twilight (depends on preference) - Selfish set to equip for some encounters requiring tank to be away from healer.

    Here's my public dungeon set

    Macabre Vintage
    (1) melee weapon(s) [sharp] and (2) bow [infused]
    necklace [robust]
    ring [robust]
    belt [impenetrable]

    Aetherial Ascension
    helm [impenetrable]
    cuirass [impenetrable]
    gauntlets [impenetrable]
    greaves [impenetrable]
    sabatons [impenetrable]

    Molag Kena pauldrons [impenetrable]
Ring of the Wild Hunt [swift]

The Aetherial Ascension has enough physical and magic resistance from buffs to continue playing indefinitely after armor is busted. The Macabre Vintage usually makes all the enemies fall over dead when I kill the first one.
