Extra Login Rewards Should Be Considered for ESO Plus Subscribers

It won't solve the broken reward system of the game, but it will certainly help, as most cool cosmetics are locked behind the store or worse - crates. Store discouns just don't cut it.

What we are witnessing now with the extra rewards is nice but temporary, It's going to suck going back to the regular login rewards after the anniversary ends.. and what better way for the company to show their appreciation for the people that subscribe than free crates? It makes the otherwise boring login rewards somewhat exciting. An extra crate every 7-10 days or so won't break anything.

I don't disagree. These items are somewhat similar to those given out back when daily rewards first started (although with more crates this time around), and it's definitely made them more fun. For the past year or so, I haven't really paid any attention to the login rewards because they were almost all inconsequential.

I'm not going to throw a fit if they go back to normal after the anniversary celebration is over, but it'd be great if they instead keep things sort of like they are now, albeit probably a bit toned down.

    Oh, the entitlementitis...

Sure, it's nice to get something for free - but it's the DECADE of ESO, so they want to draw people's attention. That's why they're generous - nothing wrong with this. This is as much a marketing gimmick, as it is a great incentive to get to ESO.

"bare minimum", "first person syndrome" and "entitlementitis" are plague upon the contemporary society. "I'm paying you, so you're OBLIGED to serve me. Because I *feel* this way."

It's true that loot crates are a predatory trick, no doubt about it, so ZOS found a way to by pass it - Seals of Endeavour - I guess people like it.

Don't like the reward system? Go to GW2 - their daily system is great as well.

I'd love to get a permanent percentage bonus to gold gain every month, even if from mobs alone. But guess what? Tamriel suits me more than Tyria.

Indeed, it's a little unrealistic to expect 10 crates per month, but something more than what we were getting before would be nice.

I am specifically talking about ESO plus members getting something extra. I don't think there's anything inherently wrong when someone asks for more bang for one's buck. If you think you're getting enough out of your ESO plus subscription, then by all means, feel that way, but I don't. This game is already very heavily monetized and seeing people defend it kinda make me cringe.

Yeah, that is, if I were an ESO+ subscriber. And I am not.

I do agree though that some of the items from the Crown Store ought to be deleted. Permanently.

Yeah, I do have quite a few that I can think of from the top of my head, like vampire/ww cure, appearance change (this should cost gold from a barber NPC) motifs that already exist in the game and are easily obtainable etc. etc. the list is actually quite big.
