Outfit Station extension | Gold Dye

Dear ESO community and devs,

I hope you enjoy your adventures in Tamriel as much as I do. Today I would like to make a suggestion to expand the customisation options for our beloved outfit station, which I think would be a wonderful addition to the game.

The Imperial War Horse Mount and the Sunspire Champion Senche-Lion Mount have a uniquely radiant gold colour that really stands out from other shades of gold. This particular gold colour gives a majestic and noble appearance that is unparalleled in the world of ESO. Even the champion gear in the character creation shows us a gold, which unfortunately is not available in the game.

My suggestion is therefore to add this particular shade of gold as a new dye to the outfit station. This would allow us to apply this beautiful gold hue to all armor and weapons, deepening our individual bond through further personalisation. I believe that introducing this option would not only increase the variety and enjoyment of customisation, but also enrich the overall aesthetic and visual diversity within the game.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love the opportunity to embellish their character's appearance with such a gorgeous golden hue. It would be a great way to add an extra touch of prestige to our characters.
I hope the development team will consider this suggestion.

Thank you for your attention and for the continued work you put into making this wonderful game. Your dedication to the community and the constant improvement of ESO is truly inspiring.

Best regards

Yeah I've always liked the imperial warhorse gold in particular.

I would like that they added new colors more often in general. It's pretty much only one or two new ones per patch. At that rate, the time it'd take for them to add these golds could be forever.

And unless they add a feature to change things like matte/shiny finish on existing colors, only one or two per patch is disappointing. I'm still waiting for a matte orange that is just a regular, plain orange, not sherbet like anequina sunrise.

That gold color already exists and it's called Divine Gold, you also have the Patron's Gold that's even better and brighter.

The divine gold looks different again, but does not correspond to the gold of the two mounts or the gold from the character creation.

The patron's gold is a beautiful colour, but unfortunately hidden behind a long grind of ToT.

I've been golding my characters forever now, and we all know colors apply differently depending on the type of clothing.

Like in your images, the gold color in the senche mount doesn't look like nothing to the gold color in the Orc armor.

And in any case, you have Gold Patron's and colors are always behind rare, hard or long grind achievements, mostly the most unique, radiant and bright, otherwise they wouldn't be that unique.

So Divine Gold or Patron's Gold is what you are looking for and, again, they're both in the game already.

It would be great if we could buy single use dyes or something for outfits. Then all are accessible in-game but anyone could access any available for a price if they prefer that to waiting or perhaps never obtaining an option.

Of the MMO’s I’ve played, I liked GW2’s dye system the best as there are soooo many options not just for color but how they dye and interact light and texture. SWTOR had the worst dye system in that no dye was permanently unlocked and had to be obtained as a single use item in the right slot.

I’m not a fan of dyes in ESO being tied to achievements, but certainly wouldn’t propose redoing the system, but maybe it could be expanded on in different ways. We certainly need more options, not just in color but in how shiny a dye is, etc. Sometimes I find it impossible to find a non-shiny dye in the color I want or to make different motifs look like they’re the same material and color.

I agree. I would love if eso got a similar dye system as gw2. I remember that there are some dyes that even looked iridescent in certain lighting. I would also enjoy if we could change the texture and of the dye too. Also more options of getting the dyes, more dye colors, and all dyes purchased should be unlocked and usable for the outfit station.

More than anything I want the ability to choose "reflectivity": each color should have matte and shiny versions.
