Why will maintenance take so long on February 21-22 for the EU megaserver?

While for the NA megaserver the maintenance will last only three hours. And for EU 12 hours.

Why 9 hours difference then? 3 hours for NA, 12 hours for EU.

Gosh, isn't all this communication wonderful? ZOS sure have taken the "we should do more to communicate" slogan seriously, haven't they?

Such a wonderful upgrade they did for the servers, by the way. I can really feel the improvements to my gameplay experience.

The problem is that @ZOS_Kevin is the only one who communicates and he (probably) has a life and can't carry the team 24/7
