Arcanist Aim Assist

I don't main this class and had never noticed this before: Arcanist Aim Assist? That class isn't cheese enough with it's unbreakable stun that it needs an aim assist? Where's my bowsorc aim assist? Or maybe just don't have any at all? Seriously........

aren't bows deadly enough?

no need of aim assist for melee weapons or lightening staff.

beam is actually hard to aim in pvp. Pros run around you all the time and I just gave up.

aim assist is an accessibility option.

it's helpful if someone has difficulty aiming, i do so i am glad there's the option for the Arcanist beams.

Aim assist for arcanist is set to max by default, so if you’ve used arc beam you’ve been using it with aim assist. I had to turn it all the way down to like 1 because the auto aim was unnerving but didn’t turn it completely off just in case. It’s assumably because arc beam doesn’t require a target like any other spammable does.

The aim assist at max sorta gently pulls your beam towards whatever it thinks your target it is. It's far from some overpowered hack or cheese in my experience--I turned it off pretty early as it wasn't helpful to me. I would try it out first and see what you think

Bowsorc, for example, already has aim assist built in because all single target skills will "snap" to whatever they think your target is. Compared to that, even full aim-assist for Fatecarver requires more constant and active aiming

Problem is, in my opinion, that it’s hard to tell if it is fully colorless that needs attention or if it’s the issue with CC break and skill delay being so bad in Cyrodiil and some other modes.

I have the same kind of problem with pulls and fears as I do Colorless so I don’t know, hard to tell what the real issue is.

I try and use colorless pool a lot and its very very rare for someone to actually be stunned for more than 3 seconds. Rather I will cast it and see the player stunned but they never stopped moving at all and just keep going.

The beam in PVP is almost impossible to use, as there is so much lag in the game that more often than not when I have the beam going right in the middle of player there will be no damage registered at all tell me that the player is really not where he appears to be on my screen. Hell even flail has the same trouble as the beam does, even sometimes if a player just sits still and I send the beam through them, still no damage will tick for the first few seconds.
