Something was overlooked with the jewelry rebalance

every other item that we transmute and decon we get whole items back from, albeit not as many as was decconed but still whole item traits, not this pulverized nonsense we get from jewelry. Jewelry should give whole item traits like very other item gives, not this pulverised mess.

Checking current prices, dawn-prism is now less 17k while aurbic amber is 40k+. what the what?

and i cant transmute and decon to get any of either in any case but if i want nirncrux, hey thats no problem to get whole item from?

this isnt right. jewelry should work the same as every other trait or what's the point with the supposed balancing of it?

i wouldn't mind doing the jewls master writs for infused if i didnt have to spend more than 200k for 5 of those stones. That's crazy.

I assumed that it was that way to offset against the no need for style pages that other equipment needs for master writs.

The other traits for jewelry master writs all have the same issues. Like for example swift trait costs 20 vouchers for the material alone, but only grants 33 vouchers. Another one of the other traits costs 20k AP for the material, which is insane for just the very few vouchers it grants!

Jewelry trait materials for master writs need a massive overhaul, as this was overlooked when they changed jewelry crafting. Right now only the base three traits are really worth making. Either only let jewelry master writs drop with the base three traits required, or change jewelry master writs back to how they were before the change(when the high amount of vouchers was worth the costs of the rare trait materials).

5, at least in my game Rolis Hlaalu wants only five vouchers for one piece of Gilding Wax.

    I agree with the OP.
After this jewelry rebalance I also noticed another problem. Seems like there is some shortage of the crafting material used for daily writs. Like if the income wasn't changed but the cost is somehow higher?
I do writs on 15 chars every day, before the change I never run out of those materials, usually had like 20k-30k of them, and use to do the jewelry surveys from time to time, now I have to do the jewelry surveys very often and still have just a little of those materials. Almost have to buy them from the market. Anyone has the same issue?

That's been the case for a while. Since the swift master writs pay out like 7-8 more vouchers than a standard trait one, its perfectly reasonable to do them.

I did, so I stopped doing crafting dailies.

Yes!! I noticed this too but I thought it was simply because I hate surveys and don't do surveys very often. I have tens of thousands of the mats used for cloth/bs/woods, but somehow I run out of JC stuff after a few weeks if I do daily writs on all toons.

Aurbic amber is hard to get, because it only drops from 2 sources: writ reward boxes or psijic portals. Since the portals share nodes with runeboxes, you then have 2 RNG: one to get a portal instead of runebox, then another RNG to get some pulverised aurbic amber (and 10 of these make 1 aurbic amber). I'm not surprised it's expensive (it's actually about 60k now).
