what are the most valuable traits to research first? to make gold early on, and to get gear for a magicka arcanist dps?

✭✭✭✭✭usually only need trait research for your own crafter/ability to reconstruct gear
could probably make more money selling the mats directly than gear crafting for people
the only way to make OK money with crafting is to craft nirnhoned research items, but you would still need the nirncrux and realistically its easier to just sell the nirncrux directlyplays PC/NA

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

✭The best way of getting gold from research is the improved drop of master writs, they're selling really well right now. It's not much of a money maker on It's own. Can't remember the last time I was asked to craft anything, maybe a pvp set a year or two ago?
I like to start mine with nirn and get it out of the way early but it doesn't matter much. The traits you'll want to transmute/reconstruct gear with are good to do earlierPS4 EU0 -

✭✭✭✭✭People dont pay much for trait items. To many crafters give them away.
However knowing traits is still beneficial when you go to Transmute or Rebuild. Or, make your own sets. If avoid the two or three trash traits you can learn all you need in short timeEnjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

In the end game you need all of them. Until you get there, priority goes to what your own character needs, and that was answered.
Crafting equipment isn’t a way to make money, it is a way to save money. The sets players want are mostly ones that can’t be crafted.
That said, crafting furnishings can be profitable, but research doesn’t apply there.0
