It seems like every time there is something out there to help tanks get taunt like the Tormentor set, ZOS has to nerf it to being pointless. They made Arcs easy to play but I guess a lot of people complained so they have decided that Arcs need to be harder. They did the same thing to Oak HA one bar builds. I am not sure if it is a specific part of the community that is complaining or if they are looking at their records and are going too many people are playing this build, time to nerf it.
Why does everything in this game have to be so difficult at times? I am not asking for an easy button where you press one button and nuke everything on the map at one time but it seems like they are going out of their way to make it as hard as possible for the players, especially tanks. I do not mind challenges but in this game tanking is in my opinion more difficult than it needs to be. If you are not at the right angle, then you cannot taunt those at range.
I read where one of their core philosophies is that a taunt should be on an individual basis. Why? What is wrong with an AOE taunt?
Honestly, every time they make these huge changes it makes me wonder why do I continue to play. It is like trying to hit a moving target but as soon as you have the target and feel good, there is goes again not being in focus.
Lets face it, 99% of the sets and skills in this game are worthless so lets make them all worthless versus looking at how to make the others more useful. How many builds are nearly identical with the exception of 1 or 2 skills? There is a reason for that.
