I think this mount was a pre-order thing for blackwood. I am assuming there is no way to purchase this or obtain it anymore?

I did not pre-order and I have it, so it must have been available another way. Probably Crown Store. However I did buy the chapter soon after release, so there may have been some flexibility with the date the offer closed.

Thanks @ghastley! I just checked my history, I had pre-orderd it, then refunded it like the failure I am and bought it again later on that year.

Ohh well....I was making a new outfit today and thought this mount would go perfect with my character. :(

that's sadly the one thing not included with the Blackwood Collector's Pack in the crown store.

the xanmeer crates have lizard versions of other mounts perhaps those would fit your character when the crates return?

Ya, the issue is ZOS way of doing things keeps me from making spur of the moment purchases. I am making a themed character and need a mount for the theme, by the time those crates roll around I might not be playing as I often take breaks and or the character style I have created may have changed.

This is the one thing, of all things that I do not care for about this game. I spend money on hopes of getting an item (crown crates, often feeling sick inside because I do not get the item after 300 dollars spent) so in a way I feel duped into spending money, which is a feeling of being taken advantage of.

And then there is when I want to spend money, buy a house, mount or whatever and its not for sale.

So basically I feel like I spend money on the HOPE I can get an item, but I cant spend money on getting what I actually want to make the game better for me.
