Would anyone else like a mini-campaign of Imperial City?

- 7 Day Imperial City Campaign
- Points gained in the same way of Cyrodiil, based on the ownership of districts.
- Rewards could be Tel Var based on 1st, 2nd & 3rd place along with imperial city based gear.
- Leaderboard, based as how Cyro is with Alliance Points.. Imperial City could be based off how much Tel Var has been gained.
I saw someone in zone chat even talk about how maybe we could get double tel var weekends, that'd be cool too.

This way, could possibly make Imperial City even more active.

    I would really love anything to make the zone popular.

    During the event I had a ton of fun, there was this large battle in Memorial district, people just jumping down from base and joining the fight for more than an hour straight.
    Was the greatest PvP I had in years.

    I don't see a problem with it and I like playing in IC anyway so sounds good to me. Would probably get more people in the zone shooting for tier 1 rewards.

    they need to fix the district respawning before doing something like this

    it would be incredibly hard to launch a counter attack if there was a zerg on the surface controlling all of the districts, as soon as one lights you would get swamped and then be forced back into the sewers, not even a competition for the flag at that point

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    still wont give you a respawn till its flipped, in which case the flags feel like they take 10 min to flip because its so slow

    i miss the old days when the respawns werent tied to flags so you could respawn in any district you wanted to

    Abosultely. IC is perfectly sized for it too not crazy big like cyrodiil, something to do at all times, good rewards, it should have a mini leaderboard just like cyro for 7 days.

    Not a bad idea, but they should focus on improving the main PvP end game in Cyrodiil first in my opinion.

    I am totally down for a change in Imperial City. That would be exciting. I would love to see Imperial City tied to Emperor-ship instead of Cyrodiil being tied to it. The Cyrodiil Mechanic of capturing the Keeps around the Imperial City for Emperor-ship made little sense to me when I first started playing in Cyrodiil. I've always thought that if you wanted to be Emperor you should have to capture the Capital.

    An idea I've been having that would be really fun is to have an objective to fight over that would control the Imperial City Zones doorways. Similar to the massive battles people have when breaching Keep Walls in Cyrodiil. So instead of just zoning thru a doorway, make it so an alliance would have to fight over controlling a door way. The mechanic could be as simple as flipping a flag on a wall to open a doorway so your alliance could pass thru it to the next zone. So to open a doorway for your alliance you must control the flags we currently have that are central to the zones as well as the flag on walls separating the Imperial City zones.

    Once all the zones are conquered you then could achieve Emperor-ship by fighting across the 2 massive bridges that connect Imperial City and Cyrodiil to the enemy alliances "Bridge Keeps". This would mean introducing 3 new keeps in Cyrodiil on the ends of those Bridges.

    I've always noticed the 3 massive bridges that are destroyed in Cyrodiil and guarded by unkillable World Bosses that connects Cyrodiil to Imperial City. Seeing something done with those bridges would be really cool. Perhaps transforming them into "Bridge Keeps" and having alliances fighting from inside Imperial City across the bridge to Cyrodiil proper "Bridge Keeps" could be the final mechanic to achieving Emperor-ship instead of flipping the Cyrodiil Circle Keeps.

    Changes like this could separate Emperor-ship from Cyrodiil Alliance Points to Imperial City Telvar. Getting Emperor-ship in Cyrodiil is often very undermining to your alliance winning the campaign as people won't actually fight to win the scoring, they'll just farm Alliance Points and ignore the Scoreboard.
