Just Hoping we can have a month at least break from events , would be nice to have no distraction to do other things ,

i get we can just ignore events , but again , i am going with the distraction angle as i like participating in all events , but it takes me away from other things

It's understandable that having too many events and daily quests can be tiring.
Older MMO RPG gave players freedom, but now MMO RPG are like prisons.
Want people to stop making them work as if it were a company job.
To be honest, it's just tiring.

I just do the ones I have fun with. I don't touch any of the PvP events and only do the normal ones I'm more familiar with now. In the beginning I hit that same burn out.

What is the reason you feel like you have to participate in all events? Event tickets? We get so many each December that it's more than enough to buy all of the year's event rewards (1 base and 4 morphs) even if you skip a few events (I never did the PvP ones, and rarely the group dungeon ones because it's too time-consuming for me - and yeah, I know that there are very easy dungeons that can be soloed within 10 minutes, but honestly, who wants to see Fungal Grotto or Spindle Clutch each day?). If it's about new style pages, those can also be bought for gold at guild traders.

Well if an event is creating fatigue for me or bores me out. I just do not participate.

I'd love to see more events. It's good to see zones thronging with people.

Provided a player has a lot of gold, which isn't the case for all of us...

I bought a few during the last few events and they weren't really expensive. Unless you consider 10.000 Gold a huge fortune. Especially in the days and weeks after an event, they normally flood the stores at low prices.

Also, it is possible to plan ahead and save gold for these occasions beforehand. I always have a certain amount in my bank that I do not spend, in case I'll need it for event style pages or something from the coldharbour furnisher.

This is 100% in your power to control. If you’re getting fatigued take a break or do another in game activity.

Just don't do it? I mean, you obviously realize another one will come so you can make up for anything you missed.

PvP one should be coming soon though; and a lot of people complain about it. Perfect time to just not partake.

I would not mind having events over and over... perhaps even overlapping ones. :hushed:

I have had event fatigue for awhile now. I don't even bother with most of them any more because they have nothing to offer that I care about and take time away from my normal activities.

I remember when an event felt like something special that we looked forward to. Now with almost non-stop back to back events it's more like "Oh, another event."

      February has Whitestrake's Mayhem.
usually nearly every month has an event.
      i doubt that'll change.

      events will happen.

you could play another game during events if they distract you too much?
otherwise nobody can really say anything besides that you don't have to participate during events if you're fatigued.

I get it. I enjoyed this current event for a few days, but eventually tired of it. It’s not the event, it’s more of my dislike for grind and repetition. I got my stickerbook for the dungeons, did a MoL run or two, and did enough dailies to complete a few motifs.

Outside of stickerbook, and some motifs, I really don’t see me getting into events. I have the indriks I want, the morphs this year don’t interest me, so I don’t need tickets. I guess I could use them for group repairs or something.

I find the best way to avoid burnout is following my whims rather than the event schedule.

This is ridiculous take, you are not forced to do events. In fact, events are only things that make people keep playing coz it's more fun to get more resources, new motifs, xp etc.

That's not what keeps me playing.

I remember when there were only a few events every year. Now it's almost back to back. They don't feel the least bit special when there are so many and I very rarely participate any more because of this.

I will do one event quest a day to get a gold coffer if there is one, but that's it. I couldn't care less about tickets because it's very rare that they offer anything I want to get anyway.

Some events though, like the crafting event going on right now, don't require any participation, there are no tickets to farm, etc. It's almost like it's not even an event for established players. However, for new players, the event is a great opportunity to level up an account and become a fully leveled crafter.
