Have ZOS announced they will support apple silicon mac?

They always said they will support Mac from some old version and newer, but last time when everyone can't start game after high isle update, I heard that they don't support Apple silicon and we need to solve them by ourselves.
But now "With the launch of Update 41, we will be updating the recommended and minimal specs for PC and Mac" if they don't support apple silicon mac, the choice from old mac will intel processor will become less and less and finally no Mac supported...

Are the new specs published anywhere yet? Curious what they're going to be, as I play ESO on both Windows and Mac.

As mentioned above, the Elder Scrolls Online is not officially supported on Mac computers with Apple silicon ARM-based CPUs.

Can I run ESO on an ARM-based Mac?

I recently upgraded my Mac to an m3 PowerBook. It runs but it runs super hot.

I am going on vacation soon, and I will be doing the absolute minimum on it in eso while I am away.

How long have the Silicon Macs been out now, it is not like they are brand new now. Yet ESO still does not have things done? Why the heck not? What, you bought one old guy from the Blue Meanies, locked up him up in a broom closet some where and that is the only person that works on the Mac end of things?

At some point probably sooner rather than later Apple will stop support for the older laptops. Maybe by then ZOS will have managed to support the new chips...

My guess is theres no real finical reason to forward port the game.

The game basically runs fine under emulation.

Porting it to M1+ will probably not improve that in any real way.

I think the most insulting bit of all this is that there's no warning when you are about to buy the game or spend more money going forward. The most prominent thing is the "Mac Compatibility" stamp on the advertisements which is truly misleading with all the fine print and well hidden details.

Tl;dr: "It is a huge undertaking to port a product as old, large, and complex as ESO to a new CPU, with no certain outcome of success. Because of these factors, we will not be porting ESO to run on the new ARM-based Macs."

I've seen nothing since that announcement to suggest that they're working on or otherwise planning to support ARM-based macs, so idk not sure what folks are expecting in that department. If anything, development resources for ESO have only been reduced since that announcement.

Of course, they could probably do some work on making the lack of official support for ARM-based macs much more clear to potential customers.

Before necrom chapter it was possible to run the game (windows version) via crossover/parallels with all benefits, but the mentioned patch ruined it. If there is no benefit in porting game to arm architecture, ZOS could at least allow us to play via those software.

It was running really well for me until Gold Road dropped. Since then, login attempts always fail with "lost lobby connection", while my Windows 11 machine has no such problem.

I am still able to run the game on a 2019 Intel MacBook Pro. Game performance is not great, particularly when moving the character forward; going straight ahead is fine, but turning left or right causes frame drops. Sometimes the world view will freeze for up to a couple seconds. I've had to step all the video parameters down a notch or two or turn them off.

The powers that be don't believe supporting Macs is in their current DNA. If Apple were to pay Microsoft for the work required to support the game on the platform, they might do it.
