Should i use start Dark Heart of Skyrim story from the beginning? (Spoilers)

So I did Markarth prologue and I am doing Markarth story/
Yesterday I learned that Markarth is the end of the Dark Heart of Skyrim storyline.
Should I go and do the beginning of the Dark of Skyrim storyline?
The main reason I started doing Markarth was the reappearance of ESO characters like Count Verandis Ravenwatch.
Is it worth doing the story from the beginning?
Also, ESO has more stories like this that span through multiple updates like Legacy of the Bretons.
Is it worth doing it from the beginning if I already started it?

They are technically two connected stories happening at the same time with a epilogue quest that is accessible to those who cleared both. So go at your own pace and complete the quests in whatever order you wish.

    Favorite Foods and Potions
    https://media.giphy.com/media/3otPoTggaYFNd1FdAI/giphy.gif
    • Parse Food for PvE:(DPS) Ghastly Eye Bowl (increases Max Magicka by 4592 and Magicka Recovery by 459 for 2 hours).
    • Gold/Purple Food for Sorc PvP and Meme Tanking:(PvP) Clockwork Citrus Filet (increases Max Health by 3326, Health Recovery by 406 [useful if stage 1 vampire], Max Magicka by 3080, and Magicka Recovery by 338 for 2 hours). Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
    • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

The games pretty much designed to play how you want, the only problem I have is when a character dies or disappears forever in a dlc, they're magically alive and well in another storyline.

It's not really necessary to do Greymoor to understand the events in Markath, but I'd do Greymoor's story at least once.

      yea harrowstorm is two dungeons.
yea overland dark heart of skyrim starts with Greymoor.
there's also the Greymoor prologue quest though.

and there's the stonethorn dungeons which take place before Markarth's prologue.

Gwendis has a side quest in Greymoor which is in Blackreach. not necessary for anything, but you get extra dialogue about it in the quests after it i think.

Greymoor's (Western Skyrim's) main story is part 1 of what follows in Markarth. BUT Greymoor's story is also one of the worst pieces of writing in ESO. Markarth is the barely redeeming bit and you should be able to figure out what came before. In this instance, I wouldn't say you're missing out.

At the moment I am doing Clockwork City.

People like Wrothgar a lot. Hews Bane is very well written (better written than anything I recall of all Elder Scrolls including the single player games, to be frank), though the city layout and stealing quests get very annoying IMO (I love the design of the zone though).

Probably easier to say which ones I, at least, found seriously below par, and they were Greymoor and Blackwood. By the time Blackwood took in the Deadlands I just couldn't carry on with the main story I couldn't bear it (although that also had to do with the standard of acting of someone playing a lead character).

Oh, I loved Murkmire for being super different but seems to get mixed reviews.
