How yall like that pve players got a whole thing. They said we have pvp content comming...three months after the new expac. And they aren't even giving us something to be excited for. That's like if today they said spell crafting comming...but nothing to say about it for 9 months.

Speaking of, what a womp. New skills for the weapon lines...instead of allowing more customization for existing skills. Total loss of confidence in this team...

Maybe not total, new chapter looks great, as always. I havnt gotten a meaningful update since summerset. Everything else has been nerfs, lack of pvp content and support, useless additions that don't effect me, new classes that look terrible (like the "necromancer") terrible. Another useless year. Ugh...if BG content weren't so fun to me I'd be gone lol. Cause I love me some BGs even though it's beginning to get stale.

    FIFY :)

Now to be serious, something new for PvP is coming, which is hopefully good news for PvPers. And we'll probably learn more about it well before it comes out.

I'm excited for pvp content...I am...but the slap in the face for this reveal. I PvP primarily and have for 5 years out of the 10. It was a bummer. I'll get over it...I always do and never have taken more than 3 months off from the game. And that was for Hogwarts Legacy lol.

I mean tbf, Spellcrafting will shake up PvP dramatically. No, it's not PvP content, but you really shouldn't be complaining when for the first time in years we've actually been told PvP content is on the slate.

And I say that as a very disgruntled PvPer

    Totally in agreement:

    1. SC could well offer a lot to PvP……happy even if it is just to shift the current crap meta (vate, marsel, master DW etc. 🤮)
    2. New actual PvP content coming: this cannot be denied

Still wait and see. I think they’ll do slow changes to pvp like how they did through flames of ambition all the way to Greymoore.

    4v4 arena matches.

    More nuanced battle spirit

A monthly "battle spirit patch" cycle that is presided over by a team of enthusiastic interns who also play this game that adjusts outliers, or creates outliers to shake up the meta

Maybe some sort of small scale, ranked arena. 1v1's up to 4v4's. It could have a Colovian Gladiator tie-in for Gold Road. Or it could be something entirely different and more accessible to casual PvPers.

I do not expect spellcrafting to add much. It's already looking to be extremely watered down. And for this new PvP content. It might not be content. It states a new PvP feature. Which could be anything from duo duels to a new card game. Knowing this, I don't think I'm out of line to be a bit irritated they can't give us a peek at what they are thinking. The fact they are hiding it and that it's not out until the end of the year is concerning. Makes me think it's going to be a new quest for BGs and they don't want it to effect the expac numbers so they hype us PvPers into thinking they care about us so we buy the expac then hit us with the "jk". I think as long as it's been since we've had a update for PvP we deserve a damn look into what they are doing.

In before the new pvp feature is just a new cyro artifact called VolvenSnipe.

I’m with you 100% Bacon, bgs keep me going but i dont think for much longer.

At this point, even a couple of new bg MAPS would be something. Not ideal, but we need new pvp content pretty desperately.

I’m worried the new content could be incredibly lame; some “strategic” board game feature akin to Tales of Tribute that doesn’t require more server resources or pose challenges to the “coding issue” limitations.

Could we get more reliable servers, the "stuck in combat" bug fixed, maybe get rid of the hammer altogether...idk, just seems like there's more important things to be addressed rather than new content for a constantly unreliable part of the game

Yep, nothing what so ever in 2024 for the best thing ESO has to offer the gaming community. :'(
