"Removed from area" at Jode's Core

My husband and I were grouped, but not together. I was at the final stage of the battle with Mulaamnir at Jodes Core when he left group to go do something else. The countdown to "remove from area" started and kicked me to outside of the moon gate right before i killed the dragon, meaning i had to go back and do it all again. This is not a dungeon. This should not happen. PS5. Northern Elsweyr ofc.
