Should the game be modified relocating the starting islands after Coldharbour and adding an NPC who allows to travel directly to the mainland?

The option to skip would be better than turning the starting areas into a sidequest.

Side quests can be abandoned. You could travel to the mainland and abandon the quest.

Providing the option provides some dispersion of the incoming wave of players. Could it all have been done with more polish? Sure. But it isn't as bad as it was in beta when it first appeared from thin air.

The beginning islands, if you choose to go to them, are ideal for players new to Elder Scrolls Games or to MMOs. Leave them as they now stand.

Lovely for starting the poll! But it's a vague poll. Sounds like one want's to move entire island. I'm not sure if the Yes or the No is for what exactly?

I think if chance to edit question, change to:

Though, "modified" is a odd word to use in relation to the issue. As it's already been modified, the default to skip the island, putting the character in the main city straight after Coldharbour is a modification too.

One could vote "Yes", as in meaning "I agree to the modification of starting in the main city, and not the starter island."

Or it could be "Yes", "I agree the game should be modified again, and one should start at the starting island with skip option given at the starting island".

Have I confused everyone yet! Please forgive my blathering, I just woke up!

If what I understand is what you mean, then I agree that you should start out on the starter island and have the option to skip it instead of skipping the island altogether and being able to go back. So, yes?

It is so backwards at the moment it's not even funny. From an emersion point of view, going backward to the starter island is counter to the stated objective since the Prophet is actually not far from where you are. This holds true from a logical path too.

It makes more sense to begin at the starter island and have a person there say express trip to main town or continue with the starter island (in an immersive way obviously).
