I have what is probably a very simple question about an in-game icon

I'm sure that the answer to this question is posted somewhere but I just can't seem to find it. As I've been playing, I've started noticing that I will often see a little blue icon next to the name of a character as my cursor passes over them. I never saw it during beta, but then there were many disabled features during the general beta sessions and I never joined a guild during beta either. Could someone please enlighten me as to the meaning of this icon?

I haven't seen one yet so maybe we should start a little database of the meaning of various in-game icons... or if one already exists, please post its location so we can all check it out.

This is an indicator of the person's rank in PvP.

Thanks for that info. Could someone please point me/all-of-us to a guide (if one exists) of what each icon or color indicates in terms of rank?
