Currently for sale in the crown store is the "Gloambound" weapons pack. This weapon pack has a unique feature (well the Iceshard weapons in All Makers crates do this as well) in that when the weapon is stowed, you do not see the weapon.

I have included screenshots to showcase this for those who are unaware.

I purchased the set awhile back because it was "magey" but I did not know the weapons were hidden when stowed, for me it was a nice surprise.

I enjoy these as I like my magic characters to be dressed down so to speak.

Yep. But for those unaware (as the threads regarding same are well-buried at this point) - IF YOU ARE A NIGHTBLADE USING GRIM FOCUS - the "permaglow" will show regardless that the weapons themselves do not.

No this is how gloambound weapons work. I've had them for a long time purely because they disappear when sheathed

The description of the pack states it. There is also a recent ice style (can't remember what it is called) that does the same

Ah, yeah, I see the tool tip. It was too small to read on my phone without expanding it. A lot.

The reason they do this is because the Gloambound is based on TES 5's Bound Weapons Spell.

The spell allowed you to conjure ghostly weapons to fight with, which had many benefits to it (for one, it meant you didn't need to carry around an actual weapon, so you could save inventory weight).

If you wanted to end the spell early, all you had to do was sheath the ghost weapons and it would dispel the spell.
