Launcher has received a token error, please exit and restart application

PC NA, through Epic Games Store.

I keep getting this error popup, and I can't find anything about how to get past it. It tells me there is a token error, and I have to exit and restart application, but even when I restart my computer entirely, it still comes up.

Yesterday, I had no issues with the game launcher. I can click on things within the launcher behind the error, but clicking on play just closes the launcher but doesn't actually launch the game.

Exact same problem. PC NA Epic launcher. Cannot get in game on my Epic account.

i am having this issue on epic also. i uninstalled and reinstalled and error persists

not that i think it matters but pc eu on epic games. seems epic games is the issue.

i was playing this morning just fine but this evening it is not playable.

And now it's working again. Oddly, The past few days, I was having issues launching the Epic version from its taskbar icon, and would have to open the Epic Games store/library interface and launch from there. Then today, for a few hours, was getting this token error launcher message, and now it seems back to normal, fingers crossed. Help me, Launcher-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope.

Thanks for letting me know, it is working now for me as well.

Was afraid I wasn't going to be able to do my dailies.

my cp 750 ish disease dd nightblade is on that account. would hate to not get my skyshards for crafting. it started working again here to while i was complaining about it. go figure.

That is typically why I complain.

For some reason, the universe likes to prove me wrong, so I complain about something and it will immediately do the exact opposite of what I am complaining about. 'Famous' Examples would be my computer deciding to not do something, so I call my brother to look at it, and it does it for him immediately. Even though he did exactly what I did, nothing else. It will just work.
