Grand Master Crafting Stations in Private Home (NOT Guild Hall)

Anyone striving to obtain the Grand Master Crafting tables for their private homes? Yeah, yeah, I know its easier for a 200-300 member guild to get these done, but I am working on obtaining these for my personal home. Seems to be quite the task though.

I currently have 8 full un-attuned, attunable crafting station sets (8 Jewelry, 8 Clothing, 8 Woodworking, 8 Blacksmithing) in my inventory and figure it'll just be easier to obtain the GM stations and just load whatever future sets I want when they come out. I am currently sitting at about 5k writ vouchers (spent some recently so this is all I have now) and thinking to just keep going until I get enough to purchase all 4 GM crafting stations. What stations you suggest I get first of the 4 until I have enough to get all of them?

I got the Grand Master stations but mainly because they are very cool looking stations in themselves. I might feed some attuned stations into them but very much doubt I'd be able to complete them to fully attuned any time this century.

No reason to get one first over another beyond personal preference. I’m in a similar place, working on getting the set of GM stations for myself (just need woodworking now) and then slowly adding the sets. At least you get the initial upgrade in appearance of the station with the first attunable fed into the station. :)

I've had all the tables in my home for a while now, and I gave all my guilds access to them if needed. In one guild I am in the person who had all the tables left the guild for whatever reason, and the other person quit playing the game, so they didn’t have the up-to-date tables in them. Let the officers know I had all the tables and my house was open for anyone needing them. Next thing I know, I am the guild hall, lol.

It does take a lot of work, but I did it because I am on console, and it was easier to travel to my main home, then find the guild hall player, and then travel to their home. Plus, what else was I going to do with all the writs I had?

What I did was wait until I had enough writs and purchase all the tables at once. Do not recommend doing this, as it was a lot of work setting up each station before the master stations. Would not be so bad now. If I was going to do it again. I Would start alphabetically and mark the tables off as I got them. But I would wait until I could get a full set at a time.

    Stay safe :)

I always wanted to have something like this but did not want a pile of stations covering half of the plot in a housing instance. So when they announce this change started to gather Attunable Stations. Now all stations are fully attuned and ready.

Yes, I've had my own personal "guild" hall for years now, just keeping up with the new stations.

I had enough vouchers saved to buy the new GMC stations on release day (and to sell approximately 60 full sets of attunable stations to those looking to outfit theirs).

As for sets, it would depend on what you're going to use them for tbh.

If you're going for easier master writs, I'd get the ones that are a pain to get to, such as the 3 in IC, Earth Forge, etc...

If you're going to make gear for profit, get the sets that people want, like Order's Wrath, Heartland Conqueror, etc...
Tenacious Dreamer - Hurricane Herald - Godslayer - Dawnbringer - Gryphon Heart - Tick Tock Tormenter - Immortal Redeemer - Dro-m'Athra Destroyer
The Unchained - Oathsworn - Bedlam's Disciple - Temporal Tempest - Curator's Champion - Fist of Tava - Invader's Bane - Land, Air, and Sea Supremacy - Zero Regrets - Battlespire's Best - Bastion Breaker - Ardent Bibliophile - Subterranean Smasher - Bane of Thorns - True Genius - In Defiance of Death - No Rest for the Wicked - Nature's Wrath - Undying Endurance - Relentless Raider - Depths Defier - Apex Predator - Pure Lunacy - Mountain God - Leave No Bone Unbroken - CoS/RoM/BF/FH Challenger

I never wanted a full set of attunables but I really like the way the new master crafter tables look, especially the fully stocked one. I saved a few old purple jewelry writs and am working through those but it’s not a big rush. I think I would do them alphabetically so I could keep track of where I am in the list.

I donated roughly 40K Writ Vouchers to a friend's guild and then amassed a further 110K completed Writ Vouchers, so it can be done. I honestly prefer the old system of running around to the individual crafting tables because the new system using the Master Crafter tables just feels so clunky on console. My suggestion for making it more palatable is to pick a number that doesn't feel too much like a chore, and do that amount. No more, no less. I personally knock out 18 Blacksmithing, Clothier, and Woodworking at a time, along with any miscellaneous Jewelry or Enchanting that I have floating around. That way I can turn in the main three in multiples of three.

First off every home is a private home. There are no guild halls in ESO. It is all tied to a specific player account and cannot be transferred. I think this should be rectified but this is how things are now.

Beyond that, I doubt many players decorating their homes solo will find getting all sets into these new stations challenging. It is a lot of work, but the stations were not designed to make the effort easier but to reduce the clutter of having all stations in a home. Heck, I think it became or was about to become impossible to get every set into a single home with the individual stations.

Pretty much this, though if I had to, it'd probably be jewelery > cloth > blacksmith > wood, because that is the order of "most demand for items across all class/spec combos", more or less. everyone wears jewelery, and the cloth station brings armor for healers, and damage dealers, while blacksmith is much more used for tanks only.

First time I was close to getting one I funded a guild hall for a guild I am co-gm on. Second time round I sold the stations for gold. Because I needed some. We will see what the third attempt brings.

I am trying and I have a post about making it easier. But everyone else here seems to just be all about shooting down any solutions to allow this. I was literally told to just make 8 crafting characters on several new accounts to do daily writs to make enough money. People would rather have that than home based ones. This is a seller's market and people don't care about your playing the game or enjoyment in doing so. Spend real money or perish is the message I am getting.

Personally, I would get the Cyrodiil stations first, since they're the hardest to access given your alliance must control the towns they are in.

Then I'd get the IC stations, since they can be dangerous to access given the risk of being attacked by PvPers.

After that, probably the stations from the latest chapter, then the ones from the DLCs in reverse chronological order, and then lastly the ones from Craglorn, Coldharbour, and the base game zones.

This is based on the assumptions that you'll be okay with saving the most accessible ones for last.

I'd love to but they look much bigger than normal ones. It was difficult enough to fit all types into a room. If I use houses, the location wouldn't be as convenient, and not too different from using guild houses.

EDIT: unless they can function when placed partially into the wall, like the vampire basin and some other utilities. Normal craft stations are quite strict.

I put mine into the stable area of my Ebonheart Chateau. There is plenty of room there for all the crafting stations. I still do all of my dailies in Sleek Creek with all of my characters as that is my main crafting hub.

It took a long time to build khajiits personal guild hall mansion all by himself (well, he was gifted 1 set of attunable stations hy a very dear friend) along with transmute, trial dummies, all mundus stones (purchased with gold from a very trusted and trustworthy friend) . Not to mention accumulating all the recipes to make all the khajiit, Elsweyr and other furnishings he used and the expensive achievement furnishings he used as well.

There have been housing competitions khajiit has participated in where he was penalized because it was assumed that multiple people were involved in creating his home (which is understandable but not the case).

It is certainly doable, but lets he frank. No matter how you slice it, its going to be massively expensive, just for the stations. I wouod estimate that it would cost approx 150mil gold right now just to purchase the attunables for every set. Cant buy the GM stations so thats 6k vouchers worth of writs.

Then again, what else would one spend their gold on?

i got the grandmaster stations for my house, still currently working on filling out the attuned stations though

i have approx 16 of the 308 attuned tables needed to fully fill them out

i wanted to have all of the stations before, but neglected to work on getting them because i hated how much space they took up, but now that we have a way to condense all of them i actually have started to work on it again lol

Before the changes to jewelry, I was destroying a lot of those writs, so I had a lot sets without the jewelry station. So I started with blacksmith, clothier, woodworking.

If anyone is interested, here are the attunable sets I got first because they were annoying to visit:

Imperial City because people want to kill me
Cyrodill where less people want to kill you, but alliance must have town
Ancient Dragonguard for alts who haven't done quests
    Mordikin both quest and annoying
Eveyea sets (Eyes of Mara/Shalidors Curse)
    Earth Forge (Kagrrnacs Hope/Orgrim Scales)

Then I grabbed Hindings, Julianos just in case I needed a decent set (Order Wrath wasn't out yet, but I have that too).

    Then the annoying ones:
Clever Alchemist where you can run past the enemies, but why bother
Druids Braid - who decided to stick a set in the middle of a long cave that dismounts you
Spell Parasite - I'm always on the other side of the stupid mountain
Fortified Brass more enemies and annoying to port to
Aetherial Ascension enemies and middle of building

Then when I finished this, I started on the ones I just can't be bothered to visit:
Murkmure - swamp and too far wayshrines
    Clockwork City
    Sloads

Next up are (mostly because the wayshrines are too far and I don't enjoy the trip to them from the wayshrines)
    Gold Coast
    Summerset
    Etc

OK... this sounds a bit insane but... I'm currently working on my fourth set of stations...

It's been over years and there was a good reason each time but... yeah :D

I started my first guildhall later the same year housing was introduced, just because I hated having to go to Imperial City to craft. Didn't intend to get them all when I started but figured once I'd started I might as well carry on!

Took me a couple of years to complete, mostly with just one crafter and buying lots of master writs. Late in the day I realised it would be much easier with more characters doing daily writs, so started levelling them all and got finished before I was done levelling. Would definitely recommend having as many characters doing them as you can manage/have time for.

I've since made another for my daughter on her account (also helped me so I could leave guilds without taking a house away from them, before you could link houses). Got used to doing so many master writs I just carried on and needed a good use for the vouchers :D

When the GMC stations were announced I didn't really want to take my main house apart so I saved enough for a new set for a second house on my account. I"ve abandoned the other to my daughter for her to care for and maintain now and my account has a choice of houses with individual stations or the GMC ones.

Lastly I really want a set in Gardner House for doing quick master writs so I'm working on that now! Still a long way to go for those tho.

I've had a little help from guildies here and there, especially working on the first, but no formal arrangement and the second was totally my own effort so it's more than doable solo :)
