Naming and shaming is against forum rules, so I'd suggest you remove all identification of the player.

In addition to removing the names (and video) from above, open a ticket and link to the video if you haven't already done that.

If you have, you just need to provide the number of the first ticket with the linked video if you want someone from ZOS to check into it.

It can sometime take time for bots to be banned. Not because there is doubt, but because sometimes deeper investigations are warranted to find out whenever this particular account is a part of a goldfarming circle. Any potential connected accounts are also in need of investigation before a banwave is conducted.

This looks like another bot that is farming something to RMT afterwards. Even if they ban him, a new account will be bought/created and this will happen all over.

Been happening for years and it will continue to happen until ESO dies out and they no longer gain profit from selling gold for $$.

as stated naming and shaming will only get you banned from the forums. though likely not befor you reach level 3. likely they will just take down your post for a first offense.

If a person is cheating, is naming them shaming them, or are they shaming themselves?

If the player is cheating, which I have no opinion on, then why should they get experience faster than the people who follow the rules?

People will say- "But macros don't exist." I know people on PS who admitted to using macros. I really find it hard to believe that reporting people for cheating actually does anything.

Some companies ban in waves every few months instead of immediately, because it makes it harder for cheaters to find out how they were detected. Also, it may hit the creators/sellers of cheating tools harder, if a bunch of customers demand their money back all at once after a large ban wave.

I didn’t believe that macros could be done on PS, until I saw players camped at dolmens afk and their toons going through he same few moves over and over again, regardless of whether the dolmen as up or not. So it must be possible.

I don’t report them though because farming bots never go away even with reporting. I just don’t think anyone cares about cleaning up the console areas, or they just can’t because we don’t have Gamemasters there.

Personally...unless it negatively affects my play experience I could care less...I mean there are players in Daggerfall that get all bent out of shape because someone is riding a Radiant Apex mount...honestly who cares?

I ended up with one one a free crate and gave it to my companion....three or four people lost their firgging minds over it and at least two told me I was using a exploit because Companions couldn't ride said mount....just listening to the conversation was the biggest example ridiculousness I've ever seen in game.

It's a well known XP farm spot and is semi-AFK. As far as ESO goes at least.
You just drop AoE ultimate and skills when needed.

    Why would you assume macros?

Same spawning mechanism also exists in Nchuthnkarst since Day 1 of Greymoor with Dwarven Spiders, but it's not as good or reliable.

I think the bot issue has gotten a bit better since the jewelry mat changes. There are still some PSNA, but not as many...

The cool kids are using scripts these days in PvP (or so I've been told). This is kind of like how a drug addiction starts, first they use exploits (& generate lag) and that's ok, then they use macros and then start using scripts, you know the hard stuff.

Makes me not want to PvP anymore. :/ Now if you'll excuse me... I need another drink.

I know in the past, people at dolmens would put a rubberband on their controller to constantly heavy attack, which is why ZOS implemented the "shock explosion" if you stand in one place too long while the dolmen is active. So some actions don't require macros, just a rubberband.

What shock explosion? I've been leveling up alts using dolmen runs, and quite often just stand in one place using heavy attacks and/or skills, and haven't noticed any sudden hits to their health.

Used to be that if your character didn't move in a certain amount of time, like 5 seconds, a charge would build up on the ground under their feet and do a small amount of damage. This would repeat. I think, but am not sure, that the charge got bigger each time, sort of like the slaughterfish. I never stood around to find out if that was actually true.

If you are not seeing it, then they removed it, it is broken, or you are moving enough to prevent it.

It's still there. Probably with all the other aoes going off, they don't notice it, or if you play in first person at dolmens you wouldn't see it...? It's kinda hard to miss though.
