It's the interest in commenting, when it's poo pooing an idea, a query, a request. Why not let the person have their thread and their moment, given its not constructive commentary.
No. The beta monkey is unique and totally stands out, and has fire the last 10 years. Keep beta monkey special and don't add any more!

Yeah, I'm strongly opposed to the addition of any more monkey pets. Even the jester monkey should never have been added. The beta monkey is a rare and (should be) unique pet that shouldn't be devalued.
Because for the case in point, it's like that for pretty much every comment on threads, and for a post like this one, it's a real drag for the OP of whatever idea or question or thought to just get their idea dismissed, rather than discussed.
Theres no harm in not commenting either, if you haven't anything constructive to add.

Players should be able to attack pets. I don't like monkeys. If the players run with them, then I demand the opportunity to roast them with a fireball, and then freeze and smash them
In fact, I support the proposal to add more pet monkeys. Of course, only if I can realize my magnificent plans for their extermination

Why would we want more scamp pets?

When we post a suggestion we know that there may be some that do not want it implemented. Most posters realize and accept this when they present their idea.
Negative feedback is constructive because it shows how much interest there is, or isn't, in the idea.

It's absolutely not, when it's just 'i don't like it'.

I feel that way about combat pets in towns.
