IA gear / Glass Eye of Mora

Since the plans dropping and specific to Infinite Archive require the Glass Eye of Mora to craft, why is it the IA gear doesn't reflect that style? Could that be changed?

All the gear in Infinite Archive is its own unique style, with one style per class. You can preview these styles at an outfit station. Glass Eyes of Mora are used to craft in the Scribes of Mora style, which drops from the Scrivener's Hall dungeon. Since the style pages aren't available yet, I don't think anyone would want to lose access to a style in favor of a motif that we can already craft and use in outfits.

That said, since the Infinite Archive styles will be style pages rather than a motif, I suppose the pieces could produce Glass Eyes of Mora when deconstructed. I think a better option would be to change one of the Necrom/Apocrypha sets to drop in Scribes of Mora style, though.

Maybe the reward coffers for the archive could drop the Glass Eye of Mora style mat.

That would be awesome! Since the furnishing plans that drop in the archive specifically require this style material, I don’t see why Scrivener’s Hall should be the only source. It’s a great dungeon, but we need an additional source.

That's really a great idea. Hope they add them to the reward boxes from the boss fights. Also be really nice if the boxes from the smaller stages would drop whatever style the enemies are from in its reward boxes.

    Stay safe :)

you can get Glass Eye of Mora from the furnishing material containers from Tezurs, not guaranteed but it seems like a decent drop chance

At this moment the demand for them Glass Eyes of Mora exceeds supply significantly.
    Because of Apocrypha furnishing plans.
And there is no logic to limit style material sourcing with a paywalled dungeon DLC (Scrivener's Hall, which is very hard to solo on normal), while furnishing plans drop in Infinite Archive (available for Base Game only players).

The appropriate style pages (Motif 120 Scribes of Mora) to craft in - are quite expensive (100K+ a page at PC EU),
so i see 3 ways to obtain the style material (other than deconstructing Scrivengers Hall gear drops):
    1) buy Glass Eyes of Mora from the Guild Traders
    2) craft with Mimic Stones and then deconstruct the gear for 1/2 chance to get style material. The issue is that supply of Mimic Stones is very limited as well. Like 5 per month via daily login reward and Twitch free Crates (though we need more streams with drops), or spending money for regular Crates
    3) buy furnishing materials containers in IA as @LunaFlora says (which is also expensive if you solo them Archive)

What Zenimax could do to make Apocrypha furnishings more accessible for players:
    - add Glass Eyes directly to Infinite Archive drops (as it is logical to get plans and mats for them from a single arena)
    - add more Mimic Stones to daily login rewards
    - add style material containers to AP and TelVar vendors

Currently Glass Eye of Mora style material is like 12,000 .. 15,000 a piece at PC EU
which is far from being "in line" with other style materials used in furnishing crafting
for example the Vile Coagulant used in posh Vampiric furnishings is below 1,000 a piece at PC EU now
(Culanda Lacquer used in Alinor furnishings is about 4,000 .. 5,000 gold a piece, again, due to a scarce supply)
This is a noticeable difference, indicating crafters non-friendly design solution. Please, fix this @ZOS

It is almost as if ZoS forgets how much money housing already makes them.....

Looking at you, outrageously expensive Crown Houses!!

They seem to think it is perfectly ok to make the people who spend real money (and lots of it) on their game, suffer even more to actually furnish these huge spaces!

I love housing, I dislike dungeons, I have never set foot in Scrivenor's Hall, instead I have gradually built up my supply of glass eyes by buying any cheap ones I see.

Problem is the furnishings that use it are imo very nice and I know that when I start using them in a house my supply will disappear fast!

There definitely needs to be another source please.
    When people say to me........
"You're going to regret that in the morning"
I sleep until midday cos I'm a problem solver!

On PC NA it’s rare to find the Glass Eye of Mora style material for less than 25k each. As far as I’m aware, other dungeon-specific style materials are only needed to craft the associated motif and one (Dragon Bone) is also required for a recipe.

We definitely need an additional source and the Infinite Archive seems very logical. AP and Telvar vendors wouldn’t make sense to me and besides, AP is already the only way to get many sets (through uncurated boxes) and the jewelry harmony trait mat — besides buying from other players.

I would also love for IA to award a small number of transmutes — not available for EA so that some people could buy unlimited numbers — but a few in the daily box or something, so it wouldn’t diminish other sources. I feel this would be appropriate since players will almost certainly need to reconstruct any IA set they wish to try and I would love to be able to try out more sets to find builds that work for me to progress further in IA.
