At this moment the demand for them Glass Eyes of Mora exceeds supply significantly.
Because of Apocrypha furnishing plans.
And there is no logic to limit style material sourcing with a paywalled dungeon DLC (Scrivener's Hall, which is very hard to solo on normal), while furnishing plans drop in Infinite Archive (available for Base Game only players).
The appropriate style pages (Motif 120 Scribes of Mora) to craft in - are quite expensive (100K+ a page at PC EU),
so i see 3 ways to obtain the style material (other than deconstructing Scrivengers Hall gear drops):
1) buy Glass Eyes of Mora from the Guild Traders
2) craft with Mimic Stones and then deconstruct the gear for 1/2 chance to get style material. The issue is that supply of Mimic Stones is very limited as well. Like 5 per month via daily login reward and Twitch free Crates (though we need more streams with drops), or spending money for regular Crates
3) buy furnishing materials containers in IA as @LunaFlora says (which is also expensive if you solo them Archive)
What Zenimax could do to make Apocrypha furnishings more accessible for players:
- add Glass Eyes directly to Infinite Archive drops (as it is logical to get plans and mats for them from a single arena)
- add more Mimic Stones to daily login rewards
- add style material containers to AP and TelVar vendors
Currently Glass Eye of Mora style material is like 12,000 .. 15,000 a piece at PC EU
which is far from being "in line" with other style materials used in furnishing crafting
for example the Vile Coagulant used in posh Vampiric furnishings is below 1,000 a piece at PC EU now
(Culanda Lacquer used in Alinor furnishings is about 4,000 .. 5,000 gold a piece, again, due to a scarce supply)
This is a noticeable difference, indicating crafters non-friendly design solution. Please, fix this @ZOS
