Looking for a list of audible furnishings

MMO Fashion has such a list, but it was only the obvious one like music boxes, bells, etc.

I want to know about furnishings that I wouldn’t otherwise expect, like the Replica Bloodmage’s Crystal Heart that makes a sound like a heartbeat — I had no idea such a thing existed until I encountered it used to amazing spooky effect in a guildie’s build today!

To clarify, I am looking for furnishing that are either always audible, or can be set to on/activated and contribute to the background ambience, in contrast to bells or drums which make a sound upon interaction with them.

(Edited for clarity, hopefully!)

the Alinor Windmill makes wind noises.

the giant interactable statues have audible effects like Vivec, Kynareth, and Mehrunes Dagon.

    mounts and pets make noises.

    fountains and waterfalls.

most chime furnishings make clattering noises(bone chimes/wind chimes).

    - hlaalu and elsweyr gongs,
    frog-caller,
    - horn of the reach clans from undaunted quartermaster,
    - khenarthi's windbells and khenarthic bell from southern elsweyr achievement furniture merchant in tideholm
    - clockwork machinery furniture
    - clockwork control panels
    - clockwork orrery
    - clockwork switches

audible furnishings usually are interactable, animated, or both.

oh i found a list on uesp though it doesn't have every furnishing that makes noise

here's a list with interactable furnishings

    those pages are probably useful

A lot of water wells, such as the "Redguard well, Arched" have a water dripping sound playing. Got some echo to it aswell, makes a nice addition to sewer or cellar builds when hidden behind a wall. Also non-interactable.

Some wells also have noise that is supposed to resemble the bucket swinging.

Several wooden signs has swinging sounds.

The Vine, Bloodroots from Undaunted Quartermaster, and likely the luxury furnisher craglorn recolour version, are very noisy.

Speaking of the quartermaster. Orb of Stone, Hemo Helot, Benign, and Stone Garden Tank, Rootbound from the quartermaster are also audible.

Active Fabrication Tank from Clockwork City achievment vendor and the Alchemy, Apparatuses from Rolis blueprints are making a bunch of bubbly alchemy sounds.

    Edit: Some more I remembered:

Weathervane of the Stormlords (sparkly sounds) and Chained Skull of the Fire Drakes from battlegrounds furnisher.

    Dark Anchor Pinion
    Flower Trap, Tamed (if active)
    Moon Gate

just to add there are different chimes. many of these are craftable
search for "chimes" at the UESP page https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Courtyard_Furnishings/Yard_Ornaments
also one of Deadlands Lightning Rods produce "electrical" sound when periodically emmiting lightnings

@LunaFlora thank you for the links! The Sixth House Totem might be the sort of thing I’m looking for, if it doesn’t require interaction to be audible — I’ll have to preview it when next I’m on. :)

Surprisingly, I did not see the Orcish Drop Hammer, Repeating or the Replica Bloodmage’s Crystal Heart on the list. Lots of music boxes but of course those are audible, lol. Unique audible furnishings that I can use to create atmosphere are what I’m looking for.

I’d forgotten that many of the Clockwork furnishings are audible too — thank you. :)

Oooh, I like that idea, thank you! I’ll have to check which have an echo to their sound. :)

The list on UESP, while very helpful (thank you!) is not exhaustive as OP already noted. It's also missing things like the Clockwork Calibration Guides for Mage, Warrior, and Thief, which produce a steady, soft humming sound. Lots of other good additional points here in the thread, need to give many of these a try :)

While I am here... anyone have ideas for furnishings which produce sea sounds? Something to place out of view in a walled house to suggest the property is by the sea, I mean. The dripping sounds of fountains and waterfalls don't really work for this, but maybe there is a furniture item that I don't know of which emits "wave noises"? :D Probably not, but worth a try.

(I should add, wave noise items minus the massive premium statues. I think the Kynareth one has waves at least, but who knows when it will be up again (and whether I will care enough about my oceanic soundscape to spend so much!))

the alinor windmill has wind sounds.
i am not sure if it's the same as waves but it might be similar.

you could use the everlasting waterfall from summerset achievement furniture maybe?

the mermaid of Anvil statue has wave noises i think, but it's also a limited time crown item so won't return for a while

I used the Tribunal Shrine in Fountain for some water sound in a inside a boat house. It's not a dripping sound but not wave sounds either. But I needed something and wasn't going to use the single limited time and crown store only mermaid statue for just some sound effects.

Yeah, I’m sad this furnishing is silent. I guess it’s supposed to be illusory, but if I had a waterfall illusion, I would want the sound as well!
