Leads with 20+ days left expiring in 49710d 6h and completely gone the next day

As of yesterday, I had two leads that said they would expire in 136 years. Relogging did not fix the issue for either one. They should have had over 20 days left, as I checked all my leads for ones close to expiring the night before last.

Today they are both gone from my active leads list.

if you happen to be online at the time it expires, some addons such as displayleads will report it as having an expiry time of 49k days

i think that is likely some kind of overflow issue similar to why you get 49k duration ghost debuffs in pvp

i dont know what to say if it supposedly had 20 days left, unless you were using the addon and misread the duration remaining (it could have been 20 minutes and then timed out while you were online)

I have Display Leads installed but was not using it at the time I looked. It was actually turned off on the character I saw the 49710d on, so I don’t believe that was related. I saw the overflow number in the native keyboard interface.

I would have thought it was something that could happen as you said when something was just expiring, but I definitely checked two days ago and cleaned up leads that were in the red. These two leads were not among them and not close to expiring. Unless the 20+ days the other day was in error, perhaps, in which case that’s a problem if remaining time is that inaccurate.

yeah i think the addon only reports the same values that are displayed, its just much easier to see and read than the default antiquity menu lol, still interesting though that you saw it in the base game antiquity menu

the only reason i commented about the overflow time was because i have actually seen a lead expire, i had checked my display leads and saw the lead had like 5 minutes left, and checked it again a few min later and i saw the 47k days remaining

after i re-zoned the lead was fully gone from my list
