Icy Aura Passive

Been playing on my Warden trying stuff out and then I thought about this passive and I realise that it is kind of weak compared to many other class passives so I came up with an idea for an improvement.
Icy Aura:
While Bracing you gain a damage shield equal to 10% of your maximum health. This shield refreshes itself every 6 seconds.
Then if there were some changes to some of the skills to help synergize I think it would be an improvement to a rather weak passive.
Example:
Frost Cloak: You are also considered as Bracing (not blocking) while this skill is active.
Expansive Frost Cloak: If this skill activates your Icy Aura damage shield it also grants a shield to up to 3 nearby allies equal to 5% of their maximum health.
Ice Fortress: Your Icy Aura damage shield is increased by 50% if it is activated from this skill.
Note I intentionally remarked that this would NOT be auto block. Simply considered bracing, would synergise nicely with Frozen Guardian set too.
