With the intruduction of the new Grand Crafting stations, I think it would be fantastic to also have a Grand Mundus stone. In some furnishings, the stones are huge and take up a lot of space, how great would it be to have a single stone to worship, and finding a place to put it would be incredibly space saving and aesthetically pleasing.

It's probably not gonna happen. They're never going to replace 13 crownstore exclusive items with just one so the only other option I can see would be introducing yet another crownstore item that the other feed into. Going by the pricing scale for the GMC stations, it'd be about 10k crowns. Don't get me wrong, I figure they'd do it if they thought they could get away with it, I just don't think they could. If people have already spent, what, 52k? on the stones plus probably another 15k on a house big enough to put them in, I don't think they'll be thrilled about spending even more on them.

I would absolutely purchase a Grand Mundus Stone from either writs or crowns, would just be a great convenience for guildhalls.

He is suggesting the same kind of mechanic as the Grand Crafting Stations...
you'd have to feed the regular mundus stones into the Grand Mundus Stone, so the regular mundus stones would not be going away; nobody's prior purchases would be made meaningless.

There was a good argument for the grand master crafting stations - there are over a hundred different sets with four tables each, and that number of sets goes up every chapter as new ones are added.

There are a set number of mundus stones now, which is much much smaller, and that number is never going to increase.

Grandmaster Crafting Stations make sense lore-wise. Now, combining all Mundus Stones when each of them points to a different part of the Aetherius into one single Standing Stone would mean that this one Stone points to all Constellations at the same time or, at the very least, the whole Aetherius.

Sure, ZOS *could* come up with something crazy like a Supermundus Attunement Tapestry (tm) that would allow one's soul to attune to anything in the whole Aurbis, but that would make as much sense as the current implementation of three sets of Mundus Stones, one for each Alliance, but that's beside the point I guess.

cant see the point in mundus stones for houses, how often do we change them and if you want a different one save it in armoury build, plus they are a total rip off and not visually appealing in many houses, it would be nice if they did that though like they did with grand master stations, what would be even better is if they were purchasable with writ vouchers like the stations are.

I use the one in my guild house all the time. Mainly to switch between the thief and the lover while setting up toons or changing builds in the armory. I think it's WAY more practical than locating them in the wild.

I'd like to see a grand mundus but also like the stone henge vibes of 13 in a circle - if you've got the space. Would love to be able to use writ vouchers as I'm never gonna spend real money on them.

Having it as an astral compass of sorts would make sense and be very convenient.

The most likely reason this wouldn't happen though is the Twice Born Star set.

It would be nice if they could at least be a smaller size. Normal crafting stations for home use are, by and large, smaller than publicly-accessed stations, so why not offer smaller mundus stones? If they were half the size they are in the wild it would be of great benefit, imo. Just my two cents.

In all honesty this isn't really a bad idea. For the smaller guild houses this could work really well.

Something that saves me furnishing spots is, at least in principle, a good idea. Especially since it doesn't look like they're raising the cap anytime soon...
