The Newest Hairstyle (Azure Ombre) is More Frustratingly Bad Cosmetic Options

I've seen requests for hair color cosmetics going back years, and now we're seeing yet more styles that lock colors behind specific hair. Why is Azure Ombre something that is tied to a specific hairstyle instead of just a color we can choose that can be applied to the style we want?

More garbage like this is just further evidence that we'll probably never see a rework of the cosmetic system to actually give us hair dyes, eyes will always sit as Head Markings and my khajiit and argonian characters will never get to have body markings over the top of their fur or scales. They'll just continue building off of a system that's nearly a decade old without any improvements and continue selling gambling tokens for pittance.

I still see a place for adding a hair dye pack like the others, that contains all the basic hair colors available for all the races. Special colors could be like this one. I don’t know why that’s never been added, unless a lot of people buy a whole appearance change token just to change hair color. :/

    You answered your own question.

Why give people an option to dye hair when they can sell appearance change tokens for $25 a pop? It's not gonna happen. Stuff won't get better until the community at large checks out and stops buyin things at ridiculous prices. Same with these atrocious crate bundles. 8000 Crowns for a polymorph. That's ~$70 USD. For a polymorph

Even at full price (for both Crowns AND token), that would be ~$10 USD, not $25. In any case, you still only have access to the same options as during character creation. I would buy a hair dye pack for the same reasons I bought the others — being able to change at any time AND the additional options.

Correct, my brain autofilled the price to 2500 crowns.

My point still stands, they are printing money by not putting out a dye pack/ability to dye hair freely or in game.

That is the logical assumption, assuming that ZOS is being rational and that there is not another factor we have not considered. I am surprised that that many people would buy an appearance change token just to change hair color, but to each their own.
