NPC Patron Picking

MarzhinGwyls
Apologies if this has been posted already, I tried looking through the past posts and wasn't able to easily locate a post.

When playing against another player, patron picking goes "P1, P2, P2, P1" where as playing against a NPC goes "NPC, NPC, P1, P1" based on the in-game lore and rules for ToT, the former picking order is correct. Just wondering what the reasoning is for the NPC picking order being different than player order and if this is on a roadmap to be aligned.

Thanks.

its been that way since tribute was introduced, the NPCs always get first 2 patron picks

im assuming this is because the NPCs are dumb and this is one of the only advantages they get lol

the pick order for a pvp tribute match is done that way because its "more balanced" giving each player a turn to pick a patron

the NPCs also have limited access to decks, and the lower difficulty ones such as novice also have no card upgrades

while players may have card upgrades for specific decks but not all of them

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

The NPC order allows for the player to counter pick the NPC. The player order allows for both players to get at least 1 counter pick each.
