Is Zhajhassa The Forgotten bugged?

So I was in the Endless Archive a few days ago. When i went against Zhaj'hassa The Forgotten I got behind his pillar and the pillar crumbles and about 3 seconds later he does his one shot attack and kills me did I do something wrong? I kinda don't wanna go back into the Archive cause I have no idea what to do and if I face this guy later on it will kill my run.

✭It is currently bugged yes. Sometimes those pillars disappear before the actual mechanic. In some cases you can nuke the boss before he even do this mechanic though.1 -

✭Ill probably put off my solo runs of Endless Archive for awhile tell the bugs are worked out some more would hate to be on a good run in later Arcs and have this happen again I wanna wait for the style motifs to come out too really like the Sorc stuff and the staves look really cool.Xbox One - NA GT: RebornV3x

merevie✭✭✭✭✭Given the sheer volume of bugs and that it is probably the tip of the ice berg, you may want to dive in to do daily quest at least. The track record on dungeon bugs is... well you've probably run into them on dgs 7 years old-literally still a boss that lands in the walls Crypt of Hearts.Edited by merevie on November 28, 2023 5:35PM0 -

you can also survive the explosion if you have 40k or more health (the explosion seems to do a relatively fixed 38.8k dmg, even as late as arc 8)plays PC/NA

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

✭✭I don't know if I am uber lucky, or its works on PS but not PC or something, but I haven't had any problems with that boss in IA since his initial fix. The only thing I do (just in case, I can't confirm it) is stay away from the pillars until I need to hide behind them. They can sometimes flag as an enemy for verses like unwitting fortress, so I am not sure if I can damage them and break them by accident with my AOEs etc.Soupy twist0 -
XSTRONG✭✭✭✭✭I play in Infinite Archive every day and have met this boss several times and it works fine for me im on PS5eu.
I noticed if your not close enough to the pillar you will get hit you have to stand in the blue light around the pillar almost hugging it1
