Quest "Trials of Rahni'Za bugged

Just tried to do the above-mentioned quest with a buddy (still one of my favourites), but couldn't complete it due to the "books" stage.

After we did all other trials and collected the books we witnessed, that the books we were supposed to bring to their respective places were already there. The questlog is still demanding us to place the books, but we can't do so and are therefore locked out of the final stages.

The usual workarounds (reenter, reloadui and relog) didn't solve the problem.

This is a picture of the issue:

Never get between a cat and it's candy!

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.

    Greetings,

We have closed this topic as it was originally created in November 2023. In many cases, it's better to create a new thread on a topic that you want to discuss as opposed to bumping one that is rather old.

    Thank you for your understanding.
