Endless Archive - Doylemish Ironheart Bugged

When fighting the gargoyle from Scalecaller, Doylemish, if you defeat him, no chest pops up and the fight doesn't end. The stone orbs just keep trying to laser you to death, and while the boss vanishes, you are not offered a Vision nor a loot chest. Going back to the start via death and coming back in does not fix it.

Has anyone found a solution to this? So far I just have to end my run. Sadly he happened at 3 3 3 so I'd put in some time already, ugh.

thats bizarre, cant recall that ever happening during my encounters fighting him

Ok update on this: I got him again last night (duo) in the first arc and we slowed way way way down and just tippy tapped him with light attacks. I don't know if that helped, but we got through the balls wave to the ice critters phase and decided to kill it. That seemed to work, not killing him so fast!

Was this just a one off? Fought this guy heaps and never had it happen, due to the amount of AOE he spawns my strategy has always been to just nuke him down as fast as possible.

Really weird. I've always just burned the guy down and I've yet to come across it.

So far it is the worst when he doesn't get to his icicle pets phase. If I let him get to that phase, it works ok. I've found that when I just SMOKE him really fast, that's when I get the endless floaty balls.

It has happened in both solo and 2-person play.

This exact bug happened to us and we just waited and waited and waited at least like ten minutes. Those orbs somehow disappeared and cycle finished.

I also suffer this bug 3 times already.
And, this is very common bug of Endless Archive now.
But still didn't fix yet. (T_T)

We're currently having this bug, me and a friend..
We tried waiting for 15min+ now and its still bugged, is there really no work around for this?

April '24, this is still a bug, kinda. I waited for probably 30 seconds before the chest appeared.

Happened to us on this boss tonight at level 3 3 3. Tried both dying didn’t fix. When one of us disconnected from the game and the other died the lasers finally stopped but still no chest. But when the other person logged back in the lasers started again.

This exact bug happened to my friend and me two nights ago.
Neither waiting for several minutes, nor dying, nor leaving the instance and porting back did help.

What I noticed reading this thread:

a) We also killed him really fast, due to some powerful Verses.

b) As other people here mentioned. this did happen at 3-3-3. Pure chance?
