NightBlade Glowing Glitch?

My NightBlade started glowing bright red and won’t stop. I switch weapon bars, switch equipped items around on and off. The glow persists. It’s very bright even in the sunlight I can barely see myself. When I teleport at wayshrine it removes the glowing aura but the weapons are still bright red glowing. After a while the aura comes back. I swear this wasn’t happening yesterday.

I assume you have Grim Focus slotted? That might be where the glow comes from, there's an ongoing discussion about that "feature" (I think it's a bug personally) here on the board.

if you have grim focus on, it is working as intended.

Yeah, it’s really obnoxious. I find the skill unusable now; unfortunately it’s central to the class’s DPS.

Don't worry there's a very strong push to get it changed because yes it looks bad and is obviously an unintended consequence of changing the active spell to a passive. Pretty overwhelming feedback to suggest it needs to go or be changed so just need to wait on ZOS to get round to it unfortunately.

Yea basically have to have it equipped. I saw people mention that it might be an intentional move to make the skill less commonly used. 😬 I’ve seen that happen in other games idk though.

I don’t mind the glow. Any gamer would want animations and glowy flashy things it’s just a little too bright. And the angles from which light is cast makes you look like you’re telling camp fire stories lol. But I don’t mind glowing just maybe a little dimmer. Haha

The glow no longer lets you know when you have 5 stacks and the spectral bow will fire. Previously when you did that it stopped glowing until you reached max stacks again. Now it is just on all the time.

That part is broken.

Yea basically. It’s just too glowy is why it’s a problem lol. I definitely still want animations and such just not completely obnoxious ones [snip]. I hear that though. Would be nice if they just added a settings option to toggle off animations.
