Congratulations for having a game where group finder can't even find 1 dd for a vDungeon at evening primetime nobody want's to play this game anymore [snip] this game has became just a BOT challenge for the meta farming, i can show 200 engame achievements and people always complaining about other people so this is how the game got balanced [snip]

Group finder only works if people use it. Most people using dungeon finder. You can't use both at the same time. Group finder doesn't pull from dungeon finder and vice versa. Dungeon finder is random. People have to opt in to group finder

Only the minority wanted the new type of group finder.In reality the majority of people were fine with randoms or doing them with guildies.Trials are only useful thing in new group finder,but most want specific gear,and experienced players,and those people rarely use the finder,since they friend ppl so can do without it.Would have been more useful when game was new and more palyers were learning it.Sadly,it's been too long since game came out,and they kinda wasted resources they could have used elsewhere.

That’s stupid. All they’d have to do is add checks and player alerts.
Alert the creator that using both will automatically remove their custom listing when they receive a dungeon queue ready check. And alert players before they join the custom group that the leader is queued for a dungeon also, and if they’re not interested, to decline the custom group invite/remove their invite request.

I don’t and can’t write code. I’ve never made a video game. But I know people who have and/or do know a lot of different styles of code.
At least enough that I’ve learned enough to know there’s so much more ZOS could do for QoL. Sigh.

I think playing another MMO that has a much bigger dev team, more $$$, and a larger player base for 15+ years has spoiled me a bit. But, still.

a) Is American holiday
b) Not many use Group Finder. Very rarely once a week using it myself when doing vTrials. All the other time using the old Dungeon Finder which is buggy since EA patch.

I used it the other day and found a havrocrel hunting group in the Deadlands which was perfect as I was trying to complete the achievement. Once I get round to it, I plan to use it to create a puzzle group for Bastion Nymics as I was unable to find anyone willing to complete the nightmare one during the event.

I menaged to run nDSA for first time without looking for people at several zone chats for a half hour. I wanted this tool and it is excelent when it works. ZoS should incentivise it with an event to make it more popular. Then on comunity will use it as they will make an habit.

1. It definitely was not a minority wanting the group finder. People have been asking for this for years over and over again. Check all the "wish list" forum posts and see how often a premade group finder comes up.
2. The problem with the group finder for OP is the specificity of the group you're creating. People may just not be wanting to do what the OP is doing simply. Everytime I create a group in group finder for a trial or endless archive, it's literally filled within 10 minutes without fail.
3. Nobody cares about gear for normal trials, but with how this game jumps up in difficulty from a normal (turn your brain off trial) to a veteran (balls to the wall relative to normal) trial, there's going to be a change in atmosphere there. The difficulty is much much harder and people want all the advantage they can get typically. ESO honestly need some way to teach players mechanics/how to make builds OR needs a difficulty between normal trials and veteran trials. You can completely ignore most mechanics in normal trials so when you get to veteran, all those people are confused. People also routinely bring in people under level 50 lol, it's just a massive disparity.
4. Theres an incredible amount of people in this game that have NO idea what's going on and what get's added. It sounds insane because it is. The amount of people that thought ENDLESS archive ENDED at arc 4 is hilarious. After update 40 launched, there was also a ton of people that had no idea that the group finder was even added .... give it time
5. I agree very much with your last point - this is an incredible addition and would've benefited the game much more had it been added sooner, but at least it was finally added!

I know that for Bastion Nymic, the zone chat for Telvanni Peninsula and Apocrypha is the way to go.

Because there's default option for Nymic on the sidebar. Even though there should be.

i typed it wrong the problem was with the DUNGEON FINDER and using EU server not NA group finder ok only for trials anyway people are playing solo most of the time becouse the game makes it easier then before

Merge realms already. Bump up those population numbers. Cross platform play is expected of online games these days. And there’s no reason to not let EU players switch regions as desired.

I agree. Less “instances” of the same zones. As is, the game feels dead if there’s not an event going on, and even still, events populate the event zone while further depopulating other zones.

Have you considered the fact that you might have been looking in zone chat on a week day during the working hours of most o the world?

I like the new group finder, I've already had a Dreadsail Reef, Kyne's Aegis, and Rockgrove run using it, super easy. Yes the available groups were sparse but people need to create the listings foe them to be there. Nor many people are leaders.

The only reason I would use group finder was Nymic. So I don't use it. And mostly I don't do Nymic because of how much of a pain zone chat to set up a group is.
