1) In Cyro : The best nightcapper team wins the campaign, whatever your faction does. If you don't play 2am -> 9am : you loose.
2) Unkillable DK tanks
3) Server lag.

Kind regards.

Q1 2024 will officially mark the 5 year point since we have received PVP content, as that was when the last BG map was released. There has been nothing significant in that time period otherwise, unless you count volendrug or destructible milegates, which zenimax has ackowneleged both caused signifant server issues.

Additionally, pvp balance has been abandoned entirely. We get maybe one small change every 4 months, but we've been in an extremely unhealthy tank & proc-favorable meta for nearly 2 years now.

Huge population imbalances. I can't think of any way to fix it, but if in the time in which you play, your faction is always way outnumbered, then it is no fun.
It's also no fun to completely outnumber the other factions (PvDoor).
Both extremes are disappointing and seemingly unresolvable

I wish they would just give that part of the game to someone who sees its potential. Let some other company buy (or rent) the rights and let them fix it.

The other company could earn money by selling PvP DLCs, PvP+ subs (with unlimited storage bag for siege weapons, etc.) and PvP related stuff in the crownstore (war mammoth, skins for siege weapons, PvP housing...). Or just make it a whole new game and do it like all the tv-series with their spin offs and crossovers and whatever... I just want to have a team of dedicated PvP developers, proper PvP servers and no gamebreaking bugs.

There are plenty of wonderful ideas out there, we just need someone who wants to do it. The people running the show right now made it more than clear that they are not interested in PvP at all. Why sit on it and let it die a slow and painful death? Just let someone else do it while you profit from selling/renting out the name.

Or just tell us how much money you would need to make it happen yourself and let us start a fundraiser...

    1. Server Performance should be at the top. The lagging, glitches, freezes, disconnects is just unacceptable these days. Doesn't matter if you have a brand new PS5 or Xbox, everyone gets hit with these issues.
    2. Stuck in combat bug. This is probably the worst in my opinion. I've been standing in a field solo fighting absolutely nothing and yet I can't mount or use a recall stone. Hell, I've been at the gate still stuck in combat just trying to access my bank.
    3. Non-destructable resource towers. We can take down entire keep walls, doors and bridges but a tiny resource tower is untouchable? That's insane.
    4. Players who take this game so serious that they openly drop scrolls and hammers for their buddies on a different alliance. It happens, we all know it does yet Zos ignores it. Getting rid of the hammer would be good start. It provides nothing of value to this game except cheating and more lag
    5. Nightcapping. Here's the thing. You're never going to fix nightcapping. People seem to forget that other players live in different time zones or that some players really do play 48 hours straight. Best thing to do in my opinion is whatever alliance is at 0 bars, increase keep & guard strength. Make it take longer to get into a keep or kills guards, giving low pop is kinda tricky as it seems to be bugged or inaccurate most of the time anyways

Most of this have nothing to do with the actual players. I think in a game like this, people will always take advantage of something when they can. It's war, so they should.

    1. Arena weapons in cyro, I still hate that arena weapon that allows people to do damage while doing the bare minimum. Though I am not mad at people for using it, just that zos lets them.
    2. Camps are expensive, it sucks that we can't pick them up when they are no longer needed.
    3. Warden gate pull thing, I hate that. Though I also use it. It should not be a thing for pvp, but it's war so we use all our tools.
    4. Someone already mentioned the combat bug, and I agree. They will never fix this bug, but they could at least let us put food on, mount, and or stone while in combat since there is a very real bug.
    5. Making scroll quests random, I heavily dislike this.
    6. Can stone and wood be free? I go through so much ap just trying to fix up our keeps.

I'm sure there is more, but this is what popped in my head for now.

Combat bug is pathetic that it's still a thing, really bad.

Not being able to stack siege, again, just rubbish.

No AP tri pots, makes a lot of builds completely unviable.

No separate inventory wheel for siege.

Lack of class balance and build variety.

No new or fresh PvP content, not even a map.

Did I mention the combat bug?

    who's 2am -> 9am exactly?

most Australians play on the NA servers. Both NA and EU servers are roughly the same distance from Australia, but the ping is better on the NA server.
Australian prime time is between 7pm and midnight.
    so its -
3am EST > 8am EST on the NA server.

The Japan game client is connected to the NA server also.

so do you want people in the pacific regions to just stop playing because it doesnt fit your timeslot?

Lack of content is definitely #1 in my opinion. And I'm speaking for a population standpoint.

I just got my 10th Anniversary badge so I can confidentially say....
Speaking from PvP content standpoint the last thing that was truly added was Battleground... That was back in 2017.... 6 years ago....

Cyrodiil is awesome.... But that hasn't received truly new content since... Well ever? Right? Hammer, towns, and copy pasted outposts. Does that count? (Imperial City was and is still cool but it's also dead and not "Cyrodiil content")

There is no separation of small scale and large scale in Cyrodiil. Zerg or get zerged is generally the mentality.

Proc sets are out of hand but considering the no proc, no CP campaign is dead I guess that's what the people want?? Or maybe they just don't understand what works there so they don't even try? Or maybe they would want the option of No Proc but keeping CP? WHO KNOWS. The population is too low to give options or try new things....

The emperor idea is AMAZING. But maybe 30 day campaigns where 1-3 players per faction have a chance at getting it is an outdated concept?

Maybe 30 day campaigns are an outdated concept.... This game doesn't have enough of a PvP population to fill 2 campaigns regularly.... That's less than what 1000 concurrent active PvPers during peak hours? (PC population).

It's estimated that ESO has 220000 daily players....

PvP is virtually dead from lack of attention. You get new players interested by making them want to try it. The below lvl 50 server is dead so no new players can practice. There is no way for them to really learn how to PvP without getting BRUTALLY destroyed (skill gap from new PvPer to veteran is immense, as it should be but other games give newer players an area to get better, low MMR battlegrounds probably has 3 day que times, I'm guessing haven't been low MMR ever so).

Maybe create a "PvE" dueling setup where you can fight each class on a set difficulty easy, medium, hard. Maybe then they can learn how to PvP more enjoyably... Maybe that will increase their interest in trying it...

I can go on and on but I feel like this post is already scatter brained.

TL;DR - PvP needs new content to bring in new blood (Dying PvP playerbase). Then it needs to make Cyrodiil exciting again.

They could have easily solved this problem by checking periodically how many players join and do not let more than perhaps 10 players in than the lowest pop faction has.

    2) Unkillable DK tanks

A long-standing problem, raised countless times. The imbalance is produced by fishy set combinations, certain overperforming CP choices together with their fundamental lack of understanding how PvP really works (one example is to let each and every new set enter the PvP environment).

With 40 meter detect pots, infinite cloak (used to stay safe, not do cool stuff), both expeditions on demand (bow roll really gives major expedition outside of the GCD), procs that trigger off of poison arrow ticks, and the insane damage that force pulse spammers are capable of sending downtown with 0 travel time it's going to be a mess when brawlers have to pick between surviving 3 force pulses or having enough damage to stop the nonsense.

It's already a mess when you're on a team that just lets them set up and spam.

i think huge population imbalances are one of things i dislike

if your pop is 2 bars and another is locked, you can basically just sit there and wait to get gated, theres no way to really stop the giant lumbering zerg steamrolling the map

i mind the reverse case a little less, at least you can make pretty easy AP if theres no resistance, but that only lasts until you take over the entire map then it gets super slow again

the other things that can be annoying depending on the situation are ganks and tanks, tanks are less annoying because you can at least use them as ult batteries

the other thing that annoys me that is not 100% directly pvp related is the lack of set gear curation in cyro/IC lol, rewards of the worthy are not curated, bounty board boxes are not curated, town quest boxes are not curated (either from quests or bought with AP)

To fix population imbalances they just implement a floating population cap. All alliances can only Field what the lowest alliance can. When the lowest alliance builds a que of say 20 players then the cap is raised for all 3 alliances. When a population drops the cap is lowered.

Dragon knights and wardens making up to 80% pluse of the pvp player base? Perhaps reverse years of the endless nerfing of Templar class, they couldn't possibly be anymore powerful than dragon knight's and wardens. Do it on all their skills to bring back some real diversity in the game.

Bring back the permanent stealth reveal of skills like radiant mage light, stealth in pvp is just stupid right now. Used to be once you gave it up you were committed to the fight... not any more. Mess up the attack just stealth again, didn't get it right again just stealth right way, whoops messed up again... good lord. There is no risk anymore. Detection potions are a fail, they do not reliably work, having to spam an ability that drains your resources that again does not reliably work.

Abandon the armor proc as your servers and game can't handle the lag, this is evident by how much the game breaks with so many ball groups spamming dark convergence.

AOE attacks should be significantly weakened, everyone loves talking about using skill to play the game yet abilities where you don't even need to face your opponents to kill them??? Are you kidding??? Why are they so favorable, it's because they are so powerful and even playing in a drunken stupor you can't fail. Also when creating a laggy environment with dark convergence you don't have to worry about aim just yawn with one hand and spam with the other.

Last, programmable devices, either allow them or delete accounts you catch using them.
