Endless Archive issue with losing threads seemingly random*

Don't wanna scream i found a bug, maybe its not, at least if you can address why this might be keep happening to us it'd be lovely.
My friends and i keep having this issue. Today i was able to capture it, right after i loot the marauder it takes a thread away and resets the fight. you can see it in the clip, video is unlisted.
edit: so we established that this only happens when you are far away from the adds when they spawn. i understand that this mechanic is simply how its coded in the game, but you are fighting your marauder, you don't even realize which add pack you are at they are just dying to aoes, then whoops its the 3rd way you are still fighting the marauder and boom you lost a thread. there should be a way to override that mechanic just for EA, we don't wanna be losing threads even when we didn't die, thank you

I've had this three times now - no death, no death recap, just lose a thread and stage resets. It's only been happening since the hotfix.
Once was during a marauder fight, the other two were immediately after the third wave of a stage spawned.
I submitted support tickets on the last two occasions and offered to provide the encounter log.0 -

✭We were on ARC 6-2-1 when we lost two and we just stopped pushing and left.
Best we discovered is you have to run all the way down to the bottom. Since we started doing that we haven’t lost any threads. BUT if you stay at the top trying to line of sight then…we’ll on some maps you lose threads even though you didn’t die.0 -
Sennecca✭✭✭I had it happen to me twice today. The first time was in that very map at the bottom of those stairs. The second time was in a green toned map with a small upper level platform and a lower level. I was kiting the tall marauder with the axe. It was on the upper platform, I had jumped down so it would have to turn and go down the stairs, and the marauder vanished and I lost my threadEdited by Sennecca on November 22, 2023 5:42AM0

Looks like the same area I was in. I only needed a couple more good hits on the marauder to finish him during the first wave and he disappeared and I lost a thread. It was the marauder that has the tornados.0 -
