Mushroom Dark Elf house

Just why dark elf wants to live in mushroom house?
It doesn't look like healthy environment.
(Spore will harm respiratory system , too much moisture let mold grow up more...not good at all.
And mushroom is not so robust structure.)

Fungal spores can be bad for one’s health, yes, but a mushroom releases its spores outside and not within itself. As for mold, it is possible that some mushrooms, especially in this fantasy environment, inhibit mold growth — they don’t want competition for nutrients after all. As for structure, that really depends on the mushroom, but I think hyphae are quite remarkable and any mushrooms that grew so tall as in Morrowind would have to have structural integrity more like a tree.

Morrowind is volcanic environment. So environment can't grow up tree huge size like the Grahtwood zone.
So, maybe they use mushroom for the building material instead of wood.

But...personally, I don't want to live in mushroom house.
