Disease cesspool from hell lingering for 30 seconds - WHY?

Is there a reason why the disease cesspool (or whatever it's called) lasts for 30 seconds that zombies create when dying? Really? I mean, REALLY?!? It's incredibly irritating to be stuck in that mud, only to have immunity and then get stuck again when another zombie gets killed. The irritation is amplified by a million when it happens in corridors where it's impossible to avoid the pools. It's even worse in Skyreach where they litter the entire area! WHO at ZOS thinks that it's a good idea to disrupt gameplay in such a horrid manner??

Here's a suggestion: make it last for 5 seconds instead of 30 so we can PLAY THE GAME instead of trying to escape the cesspools from hell!

    Do you mean the Desecrated Ground Snare which happens when a zombie type mob got killed by a status effect tick?

    I don't know what it's called, but it's a disease pool that lasts for 30 seconds. It's just pointless.

    while they are annoying i just dodge roll out of them if i am in one

    it does pretty negligible dmg, once had like 6 of them stacking and it still was barely noticeable lol

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    It's not the damage, it's the snare where you get hit over and over again. The damn thing lasts for 30 seconds, and good luck avoiding them when you're in a corridor with zombie pools covering it all. I just don't understand WHY it needs to be 30 seconds instead of 5.

    Yeah this was always a meme whenever I was doing Skyreach. It's one of many reasons I never unslot race against time

    Neither of those clears a strong snare. The roll may get you out of the pool but you will still be snared.

    the snare clears up in 2 sec or less after you leave the pool

    my only suggestion if it really bothers the OP is just use the snow treaders mythic, then these pools wont do anything

    It is super annoying and it really shouldn't last this long. This is not fun at all and just a mechanic to milk few more seconds of player time.
