gear concept: trashnoob nightblade wants perfected vatreshan weapons
gear
5 seducer
5 orders wrath
1 ring of pale order (relatively easy to get if you have scrying)
1 monster 1pc (prefer crit>dmg>mag>mag regen) obviously i went regen for sustain god
no ESO plus? dont wanna scry? no problem. grab chokethorn or a monster set of your choice.
inferno staff, front bar precise shock glyph, back bar infused crushing glyph
3 infused jewelry spellpower enchant
front bar Soul Harvest
1 merciless resolve
2 swallow soul
3 mystic orb
4 razor caltrops
5 twisting path
back bar- ice comet
1 impale
2 structured entropy
3 dark shade
4 barbed trap
5 blockade of fire
Rationale for abilities:
merciless heals
swallow soul heals
mystic orb is phat damage and gives regen
caltrops is nice damage, have to recast a lot. you may not always have stam, but im argonian so I’ll get enough stam sustain with drinking potions. daggers are viable frontbar option. you could use elemental drain, which has no cost. i found that with seducer magicka was hardly ever an issue.
twisting path is phat damage and gives shadow passives. great for positioning with major expedition.
impale is nice for execute phase. structured entroy is OK damage but mostly used for applying to multiple targets for increased healing. good to cast while repositioning. even with swallow soul and pale order, this helped sustain incoming damage when multiple adds spawn. other considerations may be debilitate, or leeching strikes.
dark shade is good damage and nice debuff on enemy
barbed trap needed for minor force. medusa and other sets can be used to replace, or use channeled acceleration.
blockade of fire- 14 second duration. everything on the front bar is less than 14. everything on the back bar besides impale has a higher duration. This way I’m swapping bars less and focusing on refreshing dots.there may be a more ideal set up for higher damage, but I’m less interested in memorizing a rotation for optimal damage and more interested in pvp and optimizing dps on ur mom eyoooo (mods pls dont ban me)
I personally dont play with a specific rotation in mind. Barbed trap is going to be high priority. if theres a lot of incoming damage, entropy on multiple targets will help sustain for healing. Shade is high priority because it debuffs incoming damage. Merciless resolve will also be high priority due to the damage, as well as to reset the counter. dont forget the FAT heal if in close range. Similarly, Ice Comet will have the highest priority to reset the count of ultimate. I have the skills organized so the skills that have a higher uptime are on the back bar, and the skills that have the lower uptime and need to be recast more often, are on the front bar. Impale is on the back bar because we dont cast it that much overall. We want rolling dots into execute phase to maximize DPS. Once we are in the execute phase we often do not refresh our debuffs and just spam execute gg ez. It is important to consider placement of AOE dots. Mystic orb moves, so you want the target within range. This may mean moving the target and coordinating that with your other ground dots. Caltrops can be thrown, which may give you and advantage on positioning the dot. Depending on how you are moving, or how the enemies are moving, you will need to prioritize different dots. For example, as this build is designed for Vateshran, when the Pyre Knight is doing the moving flame AOE attack, you can squeeze in between the flames and drop a AOE DOT like blockade of fire. Or you could precast a orb to travel along a path to damage the knight. Or you could take advantage of being at range and cast caltrops. Caltrops is also going to have a high priority because it applies major breach.
Priorities
ulti dump (reset ult)> merciless (reset counter) > caltrops (breach) > barbed trap (force) > shade (minor maim) > keep aoe dots up > keep single target dots up
also keep your hots! funnel health and entropy need to stay rolling! depending on the fight this may be more important than pure dps. if you have ring of pale order, that will help mitigate your reliance on these heals
CP
i have about 800 cp. I would recommend focusing on just doing more damage in the blue tree. with funnel and pale order more damage will result in more healing done. The green tree I would try for liquid efficiency. The Red tree I think movement speed is the most important.
comments
this build concept is focused around not farming PVE gear in order to do PVE content. I am a PVP focused player. All of this gear is crafted. Ring of Pale order is a bit tricky to get, but overall I think an easy mythic. Monster helmets are easily farmed, or you could opt for using Trainee or another set just as a place holder. If you do not use Ring of Pale order, I would consider how to boost healing a bit with a 2pc monster or abilities like leeching strikes that help generate more incoming healing.
